Ashu, 04 Apr 2019Whats the basic difference between Huawei and Honor phones?... moreHere's the difference.
One is worthless trash. One is worthless junk. Both have misleading advertising, treating their customers like fools.

Whats the basic difference between Huawei and Honor phones?! They are both practically same, only price is the difference here, Huawei releases a flagship, then few weeks later Honor releases that phone under its branding since they know no one will buy flagship Huawei phones. First Huawei releases a model and then honor follow it with multiple models based on that one with small differences.

dude111, 04 Apr 2019They cameras are not so great. The zoom and night mode a... moreI think hardware of Huawei cameras can be one of the best, but software is definitely not. A year ago, there are still so many artificial colors, and their photos looked not natural enough even if AI turned off. I think their algorithm is not advanced enough. Apple and Google are the best in this category, but they refuse to upgrade their camera hardware (their quality may be the best, but the features are not enough IMO). Samsung is a bit behind. Others are even behind. Among Chinese ones, Xiaomi seems to be slightly better then Huawei, but fall behind Samsung. HTC, LG, Motorola and Sony had been great, but their level are behind Samsung now. Of course, all these comments are my own opinion only.

dude111, 04 Apr 2019They cameras are not so great. The zoom and night mode a... moreI agree. I have the Mate 10 Pro and when I asked my sister to take a pic of me last night, it looked really bad. Very soft, very washed out colors and very noisy. The colors where the most disappointing part, yuck. My green shirt looked white but tbh, the lighting condition was not so good when she took it. My previous pixel takes better pics.

The zoom and night mode are excellent, best in class, but everything else on their cameras is not that good. I've seen photos and videos with poor dynamic range and colors off from reality in plain day light.

Sure, it's working amazingly right now, but they better have a plan for later on, otherwise they'll have put way too many marbles in one basket

They want to be the first one on sales (by sum Huawei + Honor)...
But they also want Honor to be the 4th?
Oh right, Huawei manipulating numbers when convenient. Sum both to beat them (nobody does that), but let honor alone to brag about some crap.

they have a chance so long as they focus on other aspects and not just in camera, coz their cameras are now really excellent. they have to focus on their weaknesses now.

It's an Honour for Huawei.
