Apple doesn't care about you, they're a ruthless company in it for profit. They are doing nothing wrong in fact I applaud them as a business, very clever to make cheap to produce phones yet market them as superior/elite and set prices to make 200% profit. Much higher margins than other OEM's hence the overall yearly profits being higher than the other top OEM's combined as you rightly stated.
The real losers are not other OEM's but some fanboy consumers that think Apple are their Uncle/relation that they need to feel proud about. When in fact Apple just wants some more shining, get on your knees again son. Unzip.

Another decade I doubt it with serious competition coming from Huawei maybe another 5 years but probably not a decade

I'm still using a 2013 android flagship. It's great. Makes phone calls, you can send text messages and you can browse the internet. And being a flagship, it has a nice screen. Plus it's screen is a sensible 4.7". If I want a bigger screen, I get out my chromebook. Mobile phone companies should just sell old phones, most people don't need a new model.

This does show how clever Apple are but also shows how their customers are gullible sheep. They are essentially buying a cheap to produce product with a huge margin and getting down on their dirty knees in front of Apples open zipper...

Huawei also were selling P series and Mate series alot cheaper than Samsung and Apple but slowly they have been increasing their prices.
If Huawei get number 1 there is no doubt about it their prices will get higher and higher as Apple and Samsung have previously done.
Samsung still sells more flagship devices than Huawei. The reason Huawei is mostly catching up is their low end and mid range phones which offer good value for money.

Samsung benefits from the inertion and it will still ne some time no. 1. If they will take the right decision it will remain no. 1 for a long time.
They build the brand awerness very well and benefit from it alot.

come on even lg g8 is close to s10 overall performance, it even have more features overall.

"lead the market" there is no such thing. what people buy this leads the market.

LOL the delusion is strong. Revenue falling and overpricing to compensate is just not going to work. No real innovation anymore at Samsung, just following the trends set by the Chinese OEMs. The Chinese OEMs selling at cutthroat prices have the luxury of state funding for all the data collection the communist party is interested in. Samsung has no such luxury to lean on.
