I think it is time they came up with a 'proper flagship' option. If they can combine flagship specs with their world-beating software, they could achieve even greater heights.

Bad move from One Plus. They will lose more customers. I use to like a company focusing on one model only. Bye Bye One Plus for me maybe.

The last Oracle, 11 Apr 2019One Plus' sales have apparently slowed down considerably in... moreMaybe you have never used one. Their epic advantage is smoothness and outstanding battery endurance. They have a very clean OS system, just like the pixels, but without its sortcomings and some things further boosted.

Well two things are at least confirmed, no wireless charging and the lack of IP rating due to pop-up camera. If you add that they don't put expandable memory slot, and removed the audio jack.... the rest is a basic phone with low features plus a 5G model. But but but it has a POP-UP camera!!!!!! Prices... well perhaps.... 600-699 euros ($676-$787) base model due to the pop-up camera, the Pro 720-799 euros ($811-$878) and the start, the 5G... 820-899 euros ($924-$1013). Ohhhh finally they'll reach the $1000 phones!!! Congrats. Sell your fans 5 of each of those cheap ones, or perhaps they are now their sheeps at those prices.

I want one of these to have the same back material as one plus 5t. I was hopeful they would one day make more devices in a year but not so many as to making it confusing for buyers like other brands.

And here goes Huawei an Samsung Style + or Pro models. If you can get some extra 100-200EUR with cost of 10-20EUR, then take it.

Anonymous, 11 Apr 2019Not really. People complain about everything. SD cards aren... moreProblem is that with the combination of charging the phone and listening to music through a dongle, you're basically abusing the Type C port more than it should. If the phones had wireless charging and/or removable battery, it would balance things out but with this, that port is getting connected a LOT. Headphone jack ain't dead bro. Why else is Samsung and LG selling like hotcakes?

Whackcar, 11 Apr 2019Curved edges? OnePlus wants to enter the premium territory.... moreYeah, and with no foreseeable benefits to that curved edge

Shadow Snypa786, 11 Apr 2019No way Removal of SD card slot and 3.5mm audio jacks are... moreNot really. People complain about everything. SD cards aren't as important to the mass market as internal storages are more than enough. If people really want external storage then an OTG usb will do.

As for the headphone jack, I thought I'd miss it with my Oneplus 6t, but I just have my adapter attached to my headphones anyway so it literally makes no difference at all. I never, ever, have to charge my phone and listen to my music at the same time as the battery is so good and it charges so fast too.

                    Headphone jack is dead.

Removal of SD card slot and 3.5mm audio jacks are the worst things to happen.

that camera and flash, they just rotate the camera from LG G6 vertically to look like this! EVen the flash is in the middle....LOL

Do people really like rounded edge? It is the worst thing that ever happened to the phones.

                            Launch OPX2 instead

Let me guess, they will have some price increases, putting it basically at flagship prices, yet they'll still skimp on:
                              - USB 2.0 (why not USB 3.1 ??)
                              - Display Resolution below 1440p
                              - No official IP68 certification (maybe they will call it "splash resistant" or something)
                              - No microSD (case of OEM cares not for its users but rather its profits)
                              - No dedicated QuadDAC (sigh)
                              - Headphone Jack (We miss ye)
                              - Stereospeakers (only a single loudspeaker, bottom firing, and muffled in your palms)

                              ...and maybe also:
                              - No DualSIM (I can see this option getting removed)
                              - Wireless Charging (they will probably omit this again, save it for the OnePlus 7t or 8)
                              - Fingerprint scanner (they will probably use Optical instead of Ultrasound)

All that these do is make me more interested in seeing a proper 2019 flagship (ASUS RoG Phone 2) and a proper 2019 "flagship killer" (Xiaomi Pocofone F2).

Hopefully, Oneplus can add QHD resolution on its pro phone versions. 390 ppi is a joke on a flagship phone...

why have "PRO", that huawei's. lol.

One Plus' sales have apparently slowed down considerably in China. India will be next with Xiaomi replacing it in the mid range phone section. Also Huawei is eating up a lot of the One Plus market share.

Personally I believe it started out very well, but now there isn't one single factors that sets it apart from the sea of other manufacturers.
