New HTC mid-ranger stops by Geekbench with Snapdragon 710, 6GB of RAM

It seems like the Taiwanese company is still developing smartphones.

710 / 712 with 6GB RAM is a very capable combo. Let's just hope the price is right since Xiaomi has been selling this for roughly $325 since last year. The Mi 8 SE is frequently seen in the $260 range ATM.

    Nice 2017 bezels without front fire speakers. How much this time for a 710 when the 730 is upcoming? Another $700 or more like the Samsung's motorized trick but without it and dated design?

      Remember when HTC were successful with low end Android phones...

          Not a bad choice for chipset IMO, considering there are many slower ones below SD710.
          I guess with SD730 arrival, HTC can get SD710 at a cheaper rate, thus somewhat helping to improve their bottom line.

          Gotta wait for more leaks on this.

            A mid-ranger with an older chipsets, and a flagship to be just a improved version of the flagship of last year, HTC seems having come to an end, or at least close to an end, after years of struggle. It may be a sad new indeed.

                  I hope it has :

                  - design of u12
                  - imx586/ 27mm + imx486/54mm : vertical setup
                  - sided fingerprint scanner
                  - glass body + ip68
                  - colours : light blue (like XZs), rose gold (iphone) and black

                  If they charge below $520 is good enough.

                          Theey should at least makes the Top and Bottom bezels thinner even if it is not a Notch, Teardrop or Hole Punch Display.

                            HTC is fading. Please try to make a compact phone 4~4.8 inches, no more then 120mm height, jack and sd slots. No use fighting the top markets with huge screen phones.
