24 April 2019
It's not too difficult to enable.

ah that's why Chrome on my Mac has dark submenu and dark text search field
but the tabs and main bar still in blue and the new webpage still white (so it's kinda odd appearance)
it changed this morning

Or use Opera instead with "normal" dark mode.

Right-click the Chrome shortcut and select what?
      Open, delete, properties etc?
If you want to write articles, it's good to write them well and not only for gathering traffic on the website.

With Morpheon Dark theme along with Dark Reader add-on available, there is no need to do such tricks.

I just updated chrome and it was automatically in dark mode after restarting I didn't have to mess with the shortcut, I guess its because I have windows 10 in dark mode already.

Too bad garbage windows 10 doesn't have it, at least in the way other versions had it (full customization, not via high contrast mode or other funny stuff that messes up other apps and haa bugs)

This kind of makes me sad because my own custom 'Material Dark Theme' will be abandoned, but then again, I'm also really happy that a theme will not be required anymore to have a proper Dark Mode that also applies to other UI elements. It already works great on my Mac, although I still prefer my own Black theme - by the way, the good thing is that you can still have custom themes installed overlayed over the Dark Mode, that's neat!

Chrome is long gone from my comp!

Thanks for this neat trick. I always wanted the settings ui to be dark themed.
