Exynos is lagging further and further behind competitors and TSMC solidifies its lead over Samsung. Samsung needs the investment in R&D otherwise it would disappear under the Chinese tide

Samsung should also think of Very Strategic Hires. Picking up guys who designed the A12x Chip, guys from Sony's Imaging sensor division, guys from AMD's Ryzen Team etc.
Samsung should aim to knock Somy out of the No1 position in Imaging Sensors and also aim to make the Best SoCs, and Laptop and Desktop Processors.
