I love how the majority of the comments is bashing the camera...you know...of the least important things for a gaming phone.

I am saddened that this doesn't have a microSD card. Just like how dumb Xiaomi was, nubia should have been the first Android phone outside of Huawei to use the Nano Memory card standard considering it has dual SIM. It just doesn't make sense.

All-in-all, the rest of the specs are MONSTEROUS for the price tag. $620 for 12GB of RAM (which nobody will ever use that much in one sitting), 256GB hard drive, 5,000 mAH battery, AMOLED with 90Hz refresh rate, FRONT-FACING STEREO SPEAKERS with the headphone jack, literal cooling fan, best use of the Snapdragon 855, IP55 (better than nothing), and actual global bands for Europe, China, and where I live, the US of A (even for Sprint!) I'm gonna wait for the Oneplus 7 Pro and LG V50 before determining which one I want but this phone made a gooood impression.

Not sure if it is for sale yet.
But Japan and Korea already have 8K TV.

Of course a cellphone will never give video quality on pair with 1", M4/3, Apsc, FF and MF cameras.

Zendroid, 29 Apr 2019Why do you include euro, when the phone won't be sold in Europe? for comparison reasons? I dont know how much CNY is (as in much or not much). Showing that for 650€ I get more than a pixel would cost me is just nice...

How can I have 8K recording on my phone?

                    1) The CPU needs to support it.
                    2) Phone maker has to give the software
                    3) Cam sensor has to be strong enough for the task
                    4) Sensor needs more than 32MP, because 8K is 32MP ...

8K. On a 0.4um sensor. Oh God this will look awful. I really want to see if this is the real deal or another trickery since the SD855 and the IMX586 can't do 8K. Anyway 8K is useless now. The only 8K TV in sale here I know is a Samsung 8K QLED that costs 20x that phone. And storing those videos... head over your nearest electronics shop and buy a 100$ 4TB hard drive if you want to save a few minutes of footage lol.

                            I do not believe ...

                            1) SD855 does not even support 4k120. The sensor also has to have the power to do it, not just more than 32MP in 16:9 ratio.

                            2) Not even larger body of Full Frames can deal with all heat from 8K recording. Even if they had lower bitrate of cellphones.

What's up with all the camera complain, it's a GAMING phone and it ticks all boxes (including a headphone jack), and it's cheap as hell. That's that. If you don't play games and camera matters to you, go for P30 Pro or Xperia 1 and stop whining.

so what happens when the fan stops working???

I'd rather need microSD slot, IP rating and capable to capture unlimited true 4K HDR like Sony a7 III, not that 8K video. Seriously, the highest storage option is just 256GB? Record 8K for 3 minutes and you'll already consume half of the storage you had.

I've been wondering how long before we start seeing 8K video-recording capable phones, and seems like the time is finally here. Now let's hope 8K becomes standard on all upcoming flagship phones. 4K has been around since at least 6 years. It is time to upgrade.

With H265 advanced encoding, the video file size would be compact enough as well.
