The solution is simple. You have the under display FP sensor right? It's a hole under the display right? Do the same thing for the camera and set the camera app to disable the pixels in that area...

And no, I don't praise them, I rather hate them for this solution, which is taking more space than a regular notch, and not giving anything in return, that's why it's worse. Most of the times these days I hate on manufacturers for switching to shitty designs just for looks, while creating bunch of issues that could easily be avoided.

Dear Samsung, please do work on a better sensor as the ones in all Samsung phones are crap. I have used a cheap Xiamoi phone and the eye sensor and finger sensor are way faster than my S10. Also please work on a better camera for low light shots as clearly Huwai superceeding you guys.

If they can get this right then we're on the way to when cameras can eventually be fitted somewhere near the middle of the screen, which is where we naturally look, not in a corner. So when we are video calling, it'll be like we're looking directly into at each other's eyes.... though for that to work will need one way transparency - probably 5 or more years away yet.

Glass lenses have ratings around optical quality - meaning how little they distort or impede light. This is one reason why Zeiss lenses (used in many camera's and some Nokia phones) are so good.
So if it's not perfectly clear and free of distortion, it will reduce the quality of selfies.

I wonder if it is even possible!
If you know about photography, you know that the glass of the lenses makes a huge difference in sharpness, contrast and chromatic aberrations. If you put a sensor behind something that's not as clear as glass, the final result will be bad.
I wonder what will they do to work around that big issue...
