We hope that YouTube and Netflix will be supported for HDR10+ content.

Also, as someone else said. You can watch 4k Youtube videos on any recent phone with the help of Youtube Vanced (it is a modded Youtube apk with advanced features), but it would still be absolutely pointless.

    LOL !!!

Yeah, but still too expensive, no 3.5mm jack, no card slot, no real IP rating and build quality Sub-part to Samsung and Huawei.

It's a nice try, but at those prices it won't sell well.

What's so great about super high nits of brightness on an amoled when oled is super energy inefficient with whites?

It can play 4k Youtube, it's just that Youtube app restricts playback to native resolution. Install youtube vanced and you can play 4k Youtube on even 3-4 year old hardware.

Um, I don't think I would still consider a $600 flagship that cannot play 4K videos from YouTube.....

Can any manufacturer give me a choice to have something different from the current crop of smartphones including those unfolding ones?
I, TA, God of mischief, require a smartphone with design similarities to Blackberry Priv, from a reputed brand. Please grant my wish.
