    Finally a budget flagship killer

Modest Mind, 14 May 2019Just to be clear, I can afford a smartphone even if it cost... morewe have a differing points my friend. i can afford those flagships too and of course i buy what i prefer .its worthit for me. but if others wont, i dont really care. its not as if these flagships are forcing us to buy them. what i dont understand is those ppl here who attacks ppl like me just bcoz i prefer the more expensive models. the question here is not what is wrong with me, but what is wrong with them questioning my purchasing preferences, this is a free market afterall. no ones forcing anyone.

        My predictions.
This phone will cost 30,000 Indian Rupee equals to roughly about £330/425 usd/380 euros. Because this is redmi and not a lot of redmi devices gets a global release, I feel like this phone will just be limited to India and China. Although saying that, It would be stupid just to limit this device to just 2 countries because when you think about it Redmi (with this phone anyway) are doing what OnePlus used to do many years ago and thats implementing flagship specs in their phones but at half of the price that Flagship companies would sell their devices at. Redmi would do well here in UK, especially when the starting price for the y3 is 10,000 INR which is about £110 their budget smartphones would compete well against Nokia. Yet Nokia would smash Redmi due to the 3-year lifesupport cycle

Modest Mind, 14 May 2019Just to be clear, I can afford a smartphone even if it cost... moreYep. iPhone/Samsung/Huawei flagships are so crippled and mediocre, i wouldn't even buy them for 400 Euro. But I'd buy a well-made phone for up to 500 Euro. With 3.5mm jack, good battery and everything.

realitychecker, 14 May 2019so judging by your comment, "crap" do start with k. lol. a... moreJust to be clear, I can afford a smartphone even if it cost 5.000,- Euros but I would never pay more than 500,- Euros for a smartphone. No smartphone is worth more than 500,- Euros! Everything above that value is overpriced and a rip off!

Modest Mind, 14 May 2019Actually, I would call the prices for smartphones of Apple,... moreso judging by your comment, "crap" do start with k. lol. anyways, yes they are expensive but to me i cannot say if they are overpriced. expensive and overpriced are two different things.

Hope poco F2 is not based on this. Poco is all about spec and little bit style.

realitychecker, 14 May 2019i thought "crap" starts with "k" thats why they use it. wel... moreActually, I would call the prices for smartphones of Apple, Samsung and Huawei kkrappy extortion!

apple and samsung still waiting to be killed by one plus 1 to 7,may be they laughing to death when that piece of crap will be unveiled

My predictions, probably going to cost around 30,000 Indian rupees which roughly converts to about £330/ 430 USD / 379 euros. Because this is redmi and their market is mainly based in India and China, all I'm saying is good luck to seeing this phone make a global release. Though saying that it would be stupid not to make this a global release because here redmi could do what Oneplus used to do years back and that's making phones with flagship specs but at half of the price of the flagship company . Xiaomi launched in UK 6 months ago, would be nice to see their sub-brand launch here too
