In fairness to LG, at least the Optimus Black will see the light of Ice Cream Sandwich unlike Samsung Galaxy S.

optimus black is the one of the best mobile in lg's optimus pipeline,,but they failed to create its value against galaxy s cause of late launch and non advertisement working.....

uau! How fast of LG to upgrade their phones! Far faster than Sony.... oh... wait... it is android Gingerbread, not Icecream Sandwich... ups.... my bad.
Seriously LG, can't you do better? Can't you keep up with others and deliver some up to date products? Maybe you should stick to what you know how to do: budget products and let the big boys do the top end phones.

Honestly, this is precisely why LG cannot be taken seriously as a phone manufacturer...
Other companies quickly learned that if you don't update your software then people won't buy... no matter how good the phone looks on paper...
It's half-hearted at best, and I know I'd never ever risk getting an LG, not because of the brand, but because of they complete lack of support for the customer...
BEWARE!

Really! They're "updating" to an OS that's 2 years old. Way to go LG. This is the 100th reason not to buy LG phones. Freaking useless company.

Nokia is one of the best companies in SW updates for their phones.
LG is doing its best to keep their phones updated although they r still being late for that.
and i am wondering how will ICS work on phones equiped with only 512MB RAM !?!?
