When china banned twitter, facebook services, insta, google search, gmail or youtube, brad pitt (acted in movie which featured dalai lama)...thats fine. No one bothered. But when US bans a chinese company then all hell break loose. Should we really talk on moral values...????

hehez, 23 May 2019being me as a developer of apps and games and as part of la... moreIt is to be appreciated the way you put it in words however you programmers earn your money because there is a demand on the market for your products or services. You my friend got it in the wrong way and the reality is just one: If there is demand there will be people selling those products or services.
If by any chance people will start buying phones with Huawei's version of android or another OS trust me, Your boss, if is not from USA, will have a good think about developing apps or adapting apps for that OS. and if your boss won't do it, there will be someone else that will do it. Just because MONEY TALKS. You don't have to trust my words, I've seen people on GSM Arena relying on articles from newspapers to back their opinion. You my friend work in the field. if you can really tell me that demand does not dictate a service provider or product manufacturer's decision, then, my friend, please attend some economic courses or just ask the main man.
In fact this debate with people commenting is the perfect example:
in the world of news there is a demand for Huawei topics. GSM Arena created this and a few more, most of them saying the same thing but putting in in different words. That's brilliant. for each person that reads the comment they get +1 view (which means +1 view for the ads you see on the website).
For each person like me also who post a comment they get +1 view (not unique btw, however I checked this topic each day so at least +1 unique visitor daily from me). Now, the math is simple. We debate, they earn their living. and is a great thing, we all get something.
Please reply to my comment cuz I really like GSM arena and more traffic they get the more money they earn!!! :) :) :)

Talk to us programmers to widen your knowledge to the tech world or get units or course to fit from us.

I dont know about you guys, but id follow Huawei wherever theyll go. If they decide to push with their OS i hope they will do it soon and push it to all their phones, including the old one, and abandon android altogether.
I chose Android phones because we are supposed to have more freedom than Apple, is this freedom? This side of the world needs to show that they can survive without these greedy western market manipulators. I am siding and cheering Huawei and i hope they will rise up and be stronger than ever.

This is going to get UGLIER. I think they are going to play a TIT for TAT game. With the number of phones that (Cr)Apple pushes out in China even though its only the 6. They are about to take a hit also in the form that apple phones can be said to do the same thing that they are claiming that Huawei is doing. (Seeing that the CIA or FBI (dont remember which) claimed broke the Apple code.) or raise the tarrifs on Apple products that nobody in china buys them

Spying 101. If you know about a spy, keep it to yourself and feed him false data.
This move had absolutely nothing to do with Backdoors on phones. Hell, Android has many more backdoors than Huawei can put in their software.
This was clearly about keeping a Chinese company from getting that precious Apple market share. I want to see what will Trump do if China decides to block US companies access to Foxconn for example and the iphone production stops to a halt.

Android "Open Source" is widely used among low cost manufacturers and is doing just fine so stop freaking out people. Americans and Europeans get stressed out so quickly for no reason. Chill people

It's easier for Huawei to just comply with US government regulation than to make their own operating system and make every chip that goes into their phone themselves. All they have to do is stop putting backdoors on their products and stop selling stuff to Iran and North Korea.

If anything China should just develop its own OS away from Android. Imagine if Huawei, BBK, Xiaomi and others join forces and create their own Made in China OS.

In China, all phone use Android AOSP and have own app store.
Huawei also have it's own app store in China.
So, Huawei don't need Amazon App Store.

There is only two scenarios for this :
1- USA administrations will have to embrace Huawei
2- USA would succeed in banning Huawei which would wake the Chinese dragon that would fire back and USA's economy would suffer in the long run.
It's really interesting watching this dispute if you are disattached from it, I enjoy it pretty much .
