Is Samsung delaying the launch of Galaxy S III until after MWC?

25 January, 2012
The company might announce the device later to avoid a huge gap between its global and US availability.

They are always hush hush about whether there is enough supply for all, launching in a few countries only, initially. Robert Lichota

            I think there's two reason

The Super Amoled plus HD still not yet ready.
IPhone 5 make Samsung think 100 time before releasing galaxy s3 and this the main reason.

Why should rest of the world suffer because US carriers are pig-headed that they need their own customized version which causes delay.

I... moreYes dear, Feature phones worth 100$ will not last more than one year except Nokia. 90 % Nokia feature phones perform as good as new even after 2 years with rough handling also. These build quality makes Nokia the King of low price phones in India & China. Regarding high end phones Android overtake Symbian in 2011 in India ( Remember that 3G service availability only in 2011 became popular in India. LTE will took one more year to come in India )

Samsung shouldn't really care about the US market. Over there the carriers rule all and they will change the phone to how they want it and clutter it with bloatware.

How many different galaxy s II versions are they in America because of carriers. Release the Galaxy S III here in Europe first where it will mainly remain untouched. Let the US carriers sort out their own problems they can get it a year later for all I care.

NOKIA, 26 Jan 2012Does samsung F700 break the iphone record? And does the sa... moreDoes Nokia sell as much high end smart phones as Samsung? I think not, LOL Nokia quarterly report comes out within a couple of hours, get ready to be humiliated by the poor performance. Nokia sells tons of lower end phones in countries such as India and China because those countries are trying to catch up to the modernized world, these countries; China and India still believe Nokia brand to be good, rest of the world has moved on.

Quad core doesn't mean anything. Some time they will not give you update, and say the quad core can't handle next android version..

If they're going to wait till the A15 quad core is ready with a fifth companion core for smaller operations for better battery life. It would be worth the wait!!! Either way its just rumors

Semply samsung's smart phones have lots of problems and issues.
THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THE HIGH TEMPERETURE

quad-core imho is too much and i doubt the battery life would be better than its dual-core predecessor. optimize the software first before upgrading the hardware otherwise it will just be another battery-sucking device. :(
