It has been clearly documented t... moreYou are correct, the ban only applies to non licenced future devices, any that are currently being built or released which have been certified will still receive full google support for apps and security patches, so the honor 20 and another device thats just about t9 hit the market will be perfectly fine, this will mean that if there is a device like the mate 30 in the works, it wont ship with american software unless licences are granted or the ban lifted

People get bored of it and it's 90s looking visuals.
I have both and the main reason I bought the macbook is simply because I got bored with windows and the super flat design. Don't get me wrong I have an HP Zbook G5 workstation and a 2016 macbook pro.
I use the HP for autocad only and the macbook for literally everything else.
It's just a better machine to live with. If I didn't use AutoCAD i wouldn't use the windows laptop ever.

It has been clearly documented that the ban doesn't affect app updates from play store or security updates from Huawei. This applies to all current shipped phones (even unsold in warehouses). The only thing that will be affected will be no Android Q (or further Android OS versions). All the apps inc Google apps like YouTube, Maps, GMail etc will still be updated on any current shipped phone as they are not part of the ban.

I believe that every problem has solution huawei mobile devices is strong enough to fight any kind of trials in the market.. Huawei company has strings connectivity to protect their reputation being giant in whole woulrdwild market they will make ways to keep their consumers, I will pray for faster recovery to resolved the issued.. Ilove huawei and I will keep my Huawei mobile and continuously buy the product of huawei

While relying on an Android open source OS (like lineage for example) will make developers only submit/publish there current existing apps apks to the new store without any new effort.

My Mate 10 Pro is a great phone. EMUI's features don't necessarily rely on Android version and I never really cared for updates very much, as long as the phone is already solid. And it is. Huawei are great phones and Oreo/Pie that tmost recent models already have installed will not be obsolete for many years to come.

MacOS is simply safer. Plus, there's still no real alternative to Final Cut Pro. Premiere mandates the overpriced Adobe Creative Cloud, and Vegas still has a crashing problem...
