Hell they can even afford to buy Qualcomm or Intel if they want.

Huawei has surpassed what Apple can do in the smartphone market. It even outwits every phone manufacturer when it announced 5g.
So what do we think a threatened nation or company will do?
It will halt the growth of it so that it can, again, be the top.

A lot of people want a new OS as they are sick enough of existing ones. US spys its own citizens using Iphones. Just look at the huge fines that american conpanies received: google, facebook. WhyTrump never said a word at that time?

Mmmmm maybe because, as most intelligent people, know Huawei is no more a 'security' threat than any other smartphone manufacturer. It's the threat to economic 'security' which is scaring Trump and Tim Cooke. However, the official line is just 'security' making the average guy in the street think it's 'spy' related. I bet GCHQ and the NSA can spy on any of us though whatever phone we use if they really want to and feel the need. The Huawei ban is nothing more than US economic protectionism. No one can really blame Trump though for protecting his country's economy. However, Huawei phones are brilliant, no denying hence why they have taken off so well. They make stand out features which Apple don't do any more as they have got lazy, fat and too profit focussed. Rather than trying to ban a competitor, instead Trump should be saying to Tim Cooke get your act together and come up with something which will beat Huawei. Healthy competition is ultimately better for consumers.....

So does anyone think Huawei is an actual security threat ?
I know they might be related to the Chinese government, but we've all seen how much power the US has over Google as well.
And at this point I trust the US less than the Chinese.

Whether or not Huawei poses a security threat to the US, the US hasn’t brought forth any single case or concrete proof of its claims.

Egocentric and arrogant. Very typical of Trump. In short, they will not negotiate with him in the G20, instead, China will reach good agreements with other countries. That is what is planned. So the war between USA and China will continue for long. In addition, on June 1, the new taxes imposed by China on US products come into force.
The truth is that agriculture and other businesses are already suffering. It will be necessary to see how many close and how much will the market endure. Consumers always lose because the products in a war like this become very expensive.
