Huawei will be back in game, mark my words. Its all just because of a Trade Wars. Besides, US loose more than what Huawei can gain after the ban. (Huawei spend $20 billion each year for their equipment from US suppliers)
Even Trump made a contradicting statement

Anonymous, 27 May 2019This new cpu will be great in kirin990.... oh wait!Kirin 985 is on the way, the issues may be resolved by the time a 990 is gonna come. ^_^

Anonymous, 27 May 2019ARM are gonna have weak sales now that they lost Huawei, wh... morethey suspended transactions yes, but its probably because they are reviewing the matter as we speak. people quickly spread the idea that Arm ultimately cut relations with huawei lol.

ARM are gonna have weak sales now that they lost Huawei, which is one if their biggest customers.
Huawei was usually the first to put ARMs new GPU etc in their Kirin chip, but not anymore

Anonymous, 27 May 2019They won't make much money. Samsung is coming out with the... moreChances are it's still gonna take 2 years to be implemented. Also, keep in mind that Qualcomm and Mediatek are still very much dependent on ARM's architecture

Basing on what we already know... that means the A77 on peak frequency achieves about 4170 points. (Basing on average single cores of Snapdragon 855 in geekbench and adding 20% to that)
~whistles~
Qualcomm has finally matched the A11, they got a long way till A13 though.

They won't make much money. Samsung is coming out with their own in house CPU & GPU and they aren't gonna license it to Huawei.

Still they will suffer drop,if they don't want to cooperate with Huawei. Who will buy, apple,Samsung or Sony,Lg,HTC and Nokia which have 3% market share together. No, Chinese companies will.

"...Valhall is a major redesign, which promises 30% better energy efficiency, 30% better performance density. (...) Chipsets that use the G77 core can expect an impressive 40% increase in performance"
...Yeah, I'll just go ahead and wait for real life tests. Rule of a thumb is that in real life you get about one fifth of what manufacturer promises with his lab controlled tests.

As I commented before the Quality/Maturity of the new +7nm TSMC dies will increase, but there's really no improvements in terms of density or power (eg 16nm versus 14nm). They might call it something else like "6nm" or "5nm" but cheap marketing tricks/naming won't hide the truth for very long.
Despite that, the figures we have from ARM, this time around, are actually impressive and they don't look to be exaggerated. So we truly are expecting a +20% CPU and +30% GPU performance improvements... based on the same cost, lithography, frequency, memory, and power-draw configurations as the previous Cortex A76/Mali G76 chips.
However, it's probable that the more mature wafers will give us a slight increase in the frequencies for both the CPU and the GPU. And when you combine that with a better memory (LPDDR5) and also better storage UFS 3.0/NVMe, then the performance increases will be compounded.
So potentially in 2020 we will see, a Kirin 990 and Exynos 9830, finally match the performance of the 2017 Apple A11-Bionic SoC. With the Snapdragon 865 part potentially surpassing it. Interesting times indeed.
(Not to mention the new AMD Ryzen 3000 CPU, and RX 5000 GPU, expecting to push the next 2020 PS5 and Xbox V to the performance of proper/current Gaming PCs since 2016).
