27 May 2019
Not only that, but it's shock, drop, dust, and water resistant too.

Just get a Samsung phone that can run Secure Folder. I am surprised Samsung don't make a lot more fuss about this feature.

        Some concerns:

Qualcomm SoC? If the U.S. government can order Cisco, Bell, Juniper etc. to put in backdoors in their equipment, why would they not order Qualcomm to do it?

Modified Android 9.0? Does it collect phone number, GPS, address book, text messages, information on all nearby networks and mobile towers, browsing information, e-mail information, and more that Google collects in the regular Android?

Does it allow a locked phone to be controlled via the USB serial AT commands like other Android phones?

I believe they want to make a secure phone, but it's very difficult when you use American chips and operating systems.

Sam, 28 May 2019No comment.... wait, hahahahaha. Is today April fools day? ... moreThis phone isn't for flashy shiny boys, this device is for people that care about security and the main sale point will be business. making it available for everyone is just an extra option...

                    Atleast use UFS 2.1

Don't worry in matter of time its boot loader will be unlocked and it will be rooted on XDA. Remember the blackphone, the securephone in the world but was rooted in matter of time.
Till today only blackberry is such a brand no one is able to unlock the bootloader or root it.

World's most secure smartphone. Note the word: "secure". It only means that that they care only as much as data to reach its intended sources.

But, it does nothing about privacy. It will still share data, only that it does so, securely. If you sideload bad apps, it still share its data.

So if you guys think this phone will allow you to be private, do shady things, do bad things.. Think again.

Shadocx, 28 May 2019The display is 5.2 inches, why are you comparing the batter... moreOh wait, about the battery part, I forgot to mention some other phones. You are correct. But, other than that, this thing is still a pure niche and a gimmick by itself.

Vasra, 28 May 2019It is hardened, not standard Android. Sharing privacy with google is not security

I... uhm.... Understand all the hype over security. but eMMC memory is REALLY crappy. I'd instead place UFS2.1 instead (more reliable. and less laggy)
besides that. I think it's a decent phone. I know it has thick Bezels. but it's not meant for the casual user I believe so I don't see any reason to complain besided the archaic storage technology.

Anonymous, 28 May 2019android in it makes it not secured at allIt is hardened, not standard Android.
