      For 400 bucks one can buy Nubia red magic 3 a lot better device for same money.
      K20 pro, Mi 9, Black shark all of them a lot better devices for same money or less.

      And many else.

                  Submerging it will give customers a more accurate idea of how reliable it is.

                        You want a "premium" feel... Buy the same glass sandwich every manufacturer chucks out. For something better looking, and more exclusive, try iki mobile. They are beautiful, and way more practical. Sadly, their specs are a little limited.

But on the other hand the Pixel has better camera, software and perhaps battery life. I'd say if you like tinkering you can get a Redmi, if you want a phone that is great out of the box get a Pixel.

Pick up a Lumia 920, now that is an epic plastic phone. I'd gladly buy it again with the same build, but with Pixel 3 camera and battery. Still got mine lying around, so sturdy.

                              If a phone dies from being quickly submerged into water it's not durable at all.
