iphine4 user, 27 Jan 2012Hey Guys,
SONY XPERIA S - Perfect design, and spec.
But w... moreThe 2011 Xperias are all buttery smooth, but when first demoed had similar lag.
The lag you're seeing is probably just because it's a prototype device, and knowing SE should be ironed out by launch.

How did it feel in your hand, was it too big or more or less usable? Perhaps a comparison to SGS2 regarding the size and usability would be super.

Just tested the Xperia S, Android v2.3.7
Felt really light for 144 grams due to its weight distribution, and pixel density is very impressive
Viewing angles are much improved VS the arc/S
Changes in camera software include full on manual ISO controls now, which was missing in the previous Xperias
Some changes on the lockscreen as well, where app shortcuts and widgets can be assigned =)
Floating Prism (transparent antennae) looks much nicer in real life VS the photoes.

I would have gone for a slow-discharging battery, actually. Or simply a big one, that holds enough juice to last a couple of days of above-average use.(Think "RAZR MAXX", Sony!)

Hey Guys,
SONY XPERIA S - Perfect design, and spec.
But why does it lag/ as seen in lots of review videos?
Could be the initial/ Proto Phone!
Well I surely need 1 more phone - which 1???
Waiting for the complete version of this beauty.

S, 27 Jan 2012I think Sony have class to their phones compared to other p... moreSo totally agreed!!!
Manufacturers such as Samsung and all may tick the best in the specs list for the WOW Factor but they so totally fail when it comes to design. No matter what the papers show and the reviewers suggest, First hand user experience is a whole different story. I gave up GS2 over Arc S and couldn't be happier :)
