2 brownsers apps doing same things.
And there is lot more.
Rather MUI than Samsung UI.
MUI is updated even for oldest phones.
Samsung gives you 2 years of updates and they ignore you.
Multi billion trillion company and cant even do proper updates.

On a benchmark K20 pro preformed better than S10 or S10 plus or even S10 5G.
In camera test is just a little bit worse.
And add-ons such as bixby or Samsung ui or water resistance are not worth the price difference of K20 pro and S10 plus which is 700 bucks.
And since xiaomi is no small company which was in 2009 and just for chinese people their quality also increased a lot.
I am sure is on par wuith other brands flagships.
And i would rather have xiaomi K20 pro than a S10 plus even given me for free i would preform xiaomi over Samsung just because the 700 bucks could help some other poor family or people.

Brand new S9+ when was released cost from 999 and higher euros depends on storage and ram used.
Just 6 months after initial sale. Month before Xmas the same device which manufacturing cost were 379 dollars cost in Samsung store 549 euros and the basic S9 was for 449 euros.
Please dont try to tell me the phone cost went this low. More than 50% if for example Apple X after just 6 months has been reduced in price by maybe 100-200 bucks not more.

Or the Oneplus 7 with a 5 inch screen. With the HTC One 4.7inch screen I thought this is a really good size. Next phone suddenly had to have a 5.1 inch screen. The next phone suddenly had to have a 5.8 inch screen. And now the 10e is the smallest you can get but it is still a phablet.
Blame those people that want to use the phone instead of a real computer or laptop :(

Only the components used to make S10+ for example cost $420. Then you add Research/Development, workforce, taxes, patents licensing , marketing and distribuition.
If Redmi costs less than $400 , it means the phone costs much less to be made. Imdoubt it costs to Xiaomi more than $200.

Because i really dont think carrying Samsung because its a top 1 brand makes anyone more clever or sparkling among others. Samsung is no status symbol anymore.

Android Q side swipes acting as a back button, swipe texting, gaming in portrait mode needing swipes, apps with side menus all with no bezels is NOT a good combination.
I was unknowingly a guinea pig for swipe gestures starting with webOS to Android. It gets annoying. I believe Google will bring back the back button once the outcry of Q's back gesture gets despised by so many early adopters.
It's cool to see the Essential Phone be the champ at something for 2017 but this bezel-less trend brings nothing practical for us. And they start look the same anyway. Same slab. Some have notches, some don't.
No wonder the market has declined for years. Reliant on cosmetic gimmicks.
