02 June 2019
The K20 Pro features a nearly-complete flagship specsheet and a moderate price, unlike certain other "flagship killers".

Zendroid, 04 Jun 2019Ufs is the storage. Ufs 2.1 vs 3.0 is like sata ssd vs pci ... moreAn entry level PCIe ssd is three times faster than a typical SATA ssd and I am not even talking about high bandwidth PCIe ssd which is way out of the league of a SATA ssd . This UFS 3.0 isn't even twice as fast as of UFS 2.1.

He didn't used a K20 Pro sporting UFS 3.0 because there isn't one available and using a phone with 12GB RAM is very impractical and on top of that making a storage type exclusive to just one variant is just another company who tries to fool its customer just like Apple where a USB Type C is a feature exclusive to iPad Pro.

Arif238, 04 Jun 2019What are you even saying? Everyone knows that K20 has UFS 2... moreYou are trying to say that ufs 2.1 and 3.0 is the same performance and not worth the upgrade. And defend it with a paid youtuber that tries to say the same thing. Even though he hasn't tried ufs 3.0 in the K20 pro, which is rumored to be in the 12gb ram version. And I'm saying that K20 pro isn't really an upgrade to the f1 8gb ram version. Only on the screen and battery consumption, if you don't touch the higher specs of the screen. To be a new king, it needs to upgrade the cpu, internal storage, ram and os.

Zendroid, 03 Jun 2019Again, did he have a K20 pro with ufs 3.0? Paid or not paid... moreWhat are you even saying? Everyone knows that K20 has UFS 2.1 but what I am saying here is UFS 3.0 isn't a big of deal as it seems by its naming scheme.

I would wait for the global prices to be announced.
it might just cost as much as a proper flagship in the end.

I'm in the US and I'm new to this. Before I buy this phone (unlocked), how can I be sure it will fully function for me here in the States? I'm currently on AT&T. Is there a way to see which band(s) my current phone is using and compare that to the bands supported by the K20 Pro?

Flagship killer? Maybe yes, maybe no. It depends on destination market. Here in the Czech republic, we can preorder Xiaomi MI 9T 6/64 (rebranded Redmi K20) for €464.
How much will be then Xiaomi MI 9T Pro version? €500 - €550? I think it will be better to buy Samsung Note 9 for €610 or Sasmung Galaxy S9+ for €512.

As i said before. It depends on destination market. Here, this phone will not be the Flagship killer. Unfortunately.

So its not easy to damage the phone when is covered by many protection.

Anonymous, 02 Jun 2019You could compare it to the Galaxy S10.Agreed. That's a more logical comparison, except for price and features/ quality aspect too.

I'm also a MicroSD advocate, a strong one. Simple fact, its the best backup in case of resetting, damage, anything, and expandability too. But I'm making an exception here.

For a cheap flagship, if we have a 256 GB variant, I guess expandability won't be an issue at least. For rest we'll have to rely on PC transfers.
Give some, take some. I guess. We can't have it all in one device.

But i have my second phone since 2015 which is Lenovo Vibeshot is good as new even after 4 years and have no IP protection.
Sometimes few rain drops fell on the phone but is still as good as new.
Apart from battery replacement because i am heavy gamer i did not change a thing on my phone.
And i bought it just 2 month after reease which was end of summer 2015

CoolZone, 03 Jun 2019Still waiting for a so called Flagship Killer with a P30 or... moreMeizu Zero that didnt come out was meant to be high class flagship phone too with no buttons and holes. Now think if one of the companies will make it popular and others start to fallow then you have nothing to complain anymore with the sd card part or even sim part.

While so called real flagship that today are mostly only brand name with luxurious price tags but lack a lot of the features like even dual sim and no 3.5mm or sd slot.

And people who whine about the camera quality then thats mostly behind the software the phone use. Open up bootloader and get Gcam on it and it do same quality like pixel 3 or what ever other good camera phone that has good camera app on it.
