First they killed X series and now they are out to kill Z series as well.
Lenovo has killed the iconic brand just to make Lenovo mobiles survive.
It's pathetic. Had they planned for good devices, they would have been amongst top players in mobile arena.
What it needs is only 3 devices in each category - premium,mid and economy. Just have good decent specs and add Android One software, it's done.
I am sure Lenovo is not at all keen to promote adopted brand.

For example, in the US an S10e can be had at Best Buy for $550. One could argue that Moto's software is better than Samsung's but more people would go for the S10e

Yeap true, moto Z4=moto Z4 play, there will be missing only moto Z4 force its big disappointment after same last year decision, it seems flagship segment area was left and stayed definitely to main brand Lenovo which already announced to us last month model Z6 pro which is flagship phone from Lenovo-Motorola for 2019 year

Isn't it more accurate to say that there won't be a flagship Moto Z4 and that the midrange phone that should be called the "Z4 Play" is being sold as the "Z4"?
