They can use a forked Android and top of that of course can be their own Android skin EMUI. So most of Android apps will be available to their OS. Since Play Store is not working on China, most of Chinese OEMs have their own app stores. Probably Huawei already have their own Android app store.
But they can have no replacement to some Google apps. They can offer some sort of alternatives to Gmail and Maps I guess, but Youtube will hurt them must. Since no other alternative has such a rich content.
More importantly without ARM they just have no alternative. Through next year they can use next Kirin chipsets, but after that they seems like pretty much screwed. There are alternatives to ARM ISA like OPEN RISC or RISC-V, but most of them also American. I don't know if being open source helps the Huawei in that case, but even than they have to develop a CPU which is building it from the ground takes years. Not to mention Android apps probably won't work with another ISA. Android supports ARM, MIPS and x86/x64. Not to mention GPU and other parts.

The LOAN of US country is around 10 trillions dollars.
Now after a trade war with china where huawei suffers US loan can grow to more than 10 trillions.
When comes to repay i hope Huawei will sucks US like wamrpires.

why? America enjoyed payment for usage of 4G patents, rights. etc... they wanna continue drinking honey from 5G

s4f786, 01 Jun 2019Huawei said it right, this move will hurt US companies than... moreactually its not. if huawei can get 100% the population of asian countries then yes but if its not huawei will hurt so bad. i doubt huawei can get 100% its still peoples choice they can not force people to use their product like me i rather use keypad phones rather than 'smartphones' my keypad phone is smart enough for me. i use more pc than a phone because my pc can help me with my 3d designs / my ui/ux side
