Huawei can always buy parts from other suppliers. Micron on the other hand will lose 13% of their revenue due to this ban, a big loss for them.

I really not understand why there are so many ignorant people believe that "many foreign websites/services/companies are also banned in China market" thingy is the same as what is happening on Huawei ban now, and thus US government just giving China a taste of its own medicine. NO, They're not the same AT ALL.
In fact, there are much much more services/companies/products are also banned by USA long time ago against China companies, which include Huawei towards US market, and most ppl are not bragging about that.
But this time is different, US government is basically banning ANYTHING that has relation with US from doing business with Huawei, it is not only just about banning from entering US market. That's why, UK/JP firm ARM forced to stop all business with Huawei, even those supposedly neutral science and technology entities are affected as well like IEEE and WiFi alliance.
This is just an ugly and disgusting move from US government which intended to greatly disrupt Huawei business in order to preserve its own global political interests (not commercial and financial interests, which is why US government ignored the fact that killing Huawei does hurt quite a lot of US companies at the same time).
US government simply using the great disruption of Huawei business as bargaining chip against China since tariffs threat is not working.

There is something wrong with the title that I can't put my finger on it.
In any case, there are alternatives to Micron which are viable. But I still don't see viable alternative to Android/Play Store.
I think the OEMs need to set some things to prevent things like this from happening. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Chipset designs etc. all hold American patents, so if US Politicians put a company on the Entity list (justifications aside), then the company is screwed.
The OEMs need to rethink the standards and develop new standards that is not in the control of any one country/company. Imagine if China has a standard patent and puts an American company on its list... it is really bothersome for a company who may have to invest hefty sum of money only to get blocked like that.

Without Micron, only few South Korean company remains as Huawei's core supplier such as Samsung and Hynix.
And they are not stop supplying huawei just for now due to Huawei's begging, but we all knows South Korea is a strong ally of US, so......

Banning Hauwei seems to be doing more damage to American Companies, imo.
Them as a tech giant would be bringing in millions of revenue for companies like micron, corning etc.
Interested to see what China's black list would be as they're both going in circles like dogs chasing their tails.
