And no, there is a boatload of sensitive data about your face, eyes, hair, wrinkles, constant emotions and etc. that could be used by rogue perpetrators especially with the help of software and AI.
On the other hand, someone spying on you isn't the type of "attention" that you or anyone else deserves and most definitely is not "nice" as you say it is...

Say Mark Zuckerberg, creator of Facebook for example, he covered his computer camera with a sticker or tape and another person doing that is me.
So... there you have it and it's not ridiculous.
Some people just don't have a 100% assurance of privacy and have to resort to physical measures to circumvent those issues.
And there are is plenty of data rogue perpetrators can collect from your face, eyes, hair, teeth and constant movement along with non-stop gathering of emotions for future use especially with if they are sophisticated in their field along with the potential help of AI...

The under display camera is the ultimate endgoal, and it could be really wonderful!
BUT!
These companies are all out of their mind, if they don't place the camera LOWER.
For CHRIST'S SAKE, PUT it in the middle of the upper third of the display, so this way during a video call, one could really get the genuine feeling of speaking directly to another person, because you COULD LOOK HER/HIM IN THE EYES!
Communicating while you can't look the other one in the eyes is very unnatural and fake. Eye contact could OPEN ANOTHER DIMENSION in video communication!!! You could really feel, that the other one is present with you!
