hanggak, 08 Jun 2019Yep. That's something android smartphone lacking...True, for example Google officially stated that they offer updates for their phones for like 2 years. And apart from camera and software, the Pixels are really average phones. So, getting updates for 5 years on IOS is certainly very good for Apple, far better than what Google does with Android.

Go get a cheap second hand iPhone 7 (with warranty included), they cost like 250€.
If you think Apple is bad at updates you will be in a big surprise when you will go to Android phones. I know, I have been there the past 9 years.

I think they will keep it for one more year like they did with the 5S.

All other apps will work normally and only would lose updates for new features when developers target 13 (that can take a couple of years), so no worry at all.

Great news for my sister. Her iPhone XS Max and 7 Plus alongside with iPad Air 2 all will get iOS 13. I'm android user but Apple's support is great.

So SE is still supported. That's awesome.
I still hold some hope it gets a successor next year.
