Cheap advertisement and something fishy under the table going on here. Competitors should come up with something better to compete than just trying cheap tricks.

Zen mobile... I remember, Amitabh Bachchan was the brand ambassador of that company. I thought, They're out of business. Well, Asus can also buy the whole company with their copyright name, before next hearing.

Easy, rebrand it as "Maharaja phone" in india, everyone wins, except for the zen mobile company.

I've rarely heard of the company called Zen mobiles, which, obviously is creating this controversy to cash in on Asus and ZenFone's popularity rather than the other way around, Asus has been selling phones under the ZenFone series since years and it's only now that suddenly this company called Zen comes up and accuses them of infringement. Clearly a tactic to become popular by Zen mobiles, but it's rather surprising that the court ruled in their favor.

I know, I know, logically thinking this does not make any sense...
But as is the case, unfortunately, Asus will have to go by some other marketing name.
Most people in India haven't even heard of ZenMobile, so cannibalization of their sales is out of the question.

However, I am not sure how a word like 'Zen' was granted a patent in the first place...but I guess if a super common word like 'Apple' can have a trademark then we can't help it.

Rules are rules, regardless of the size of the company initiating the dispute.

"ride upon the goodwill" of Zen Mobile. LOL. What goodwill does Zen mobile have? Nobody even recognises Zen mobile.

                      Stupid decision by Indian court.
Zen comes from Buddhism and shouldn't be allowed to be trademark protected by any company.
