If your phone has OIS, turn off EIS and walk while recording.
Footage will look like it was recorded by someone with Parkinson.

Unless Sony bring with that 6 camera the biggest sensor of any phone around same as Nokia pure view, lossless zoom and OIS combined with EIS including anti-shack last not least an excellent camera software then yeah.

Claus, 12 Jun 2019Isn't the monochrome sensors also used to obtain contrast?Well, I tried a lot of shoot with only the main RGB and the B/W sensor in the midle, and the same one with all the sensor. Indoor, outdoor, in low light, daylight, with many reflection on glasses or not. I could hardly tell any difference between the two setup. The raws had the same level of detail and dynamic range to work with.
But when you take a monochrom photo, it's the photo from the right B/W sensor that is saved (resulting in a wrongly centered photo since you point with the sensor in the middle).
Seriously, I like this phone a lot, it's really beautiful. I tried to understand how they used all the sensor, but I think they bet everything on the depht mapping, and a lot of time I wanted to use it it was meh. So like like with every other phone, I Don't use the artificial blur at all since I can't stand when it's not perfectly done like with a lens. But it's a personnal opinion, I never liked computed blur.

Maybe Black and White, Wide-angle, telephoto, and ToF along with the main snapper will account for five (5) of those, but about that other one?
I hope Sony brings something good to the game.

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2019God safe Sony from Light and i hope Xiaomi too. Their camer... moreDo you have experience with the Nokia 9 your self? It might not be the best auto shooter in complete darkness. But it does a very good job, shooting in normal situations. The phone is specially made to capture much data, to make good raw pictures. But it also does a good job with jpegs.

Hildr, 12 Jun 2019For the only reason there is no difference between a $400 p... moreYes there are ....
- $400 phone is cheaper than the $1000 not because only one company is too greedy, it is because the $400 one is much cheaper to be made.
- Midranges because of the weaker CPU have slower internet connection than flagships. No matter wifi or mobile data. The speed you browse or download/update apps is slower.
- midranges use slower emmc memory
I have a older flagship that has screen issues, I've been using a lower midrange since. The difference is Sun versus candle.

anonymous, 12 Jun 2019May I ask why people are obsessed with putting more cameras... moreFor the only reason there is no difference between a $400 phone and a $1000 phone in usability except for the camera.
Also, putting more sensor to snap multiple photos at the same time and combining them is in theory far better than shooting multiple photos in a raw with a single snapper and then combining them, because things can move fast in real life. N9 doesn't count since it only use 2 of the 5 sensor to make the picture, the other 3 are used for depht mapping (that is still bad and do a lot of error).
That's for the technical point.
Now about the real interest, it's just marketing, like why people are obessed with SD855 here when it doesn't do anything better than a SD845 (ho, yeah I know about benchmark, but I Don't know a lot of person than run benchmark for fun when they are borred, they usually go on instagram/fb/candycrush/pubg).
Or the same way they are obsessed with heavy, fragile, slippery, fingerprint magnet glass back when plastic is that better they put a plastic cover on the glass.
Or the same way they are obsessed with mAh in power bank when the Wh is the real information about Energy storage capability (look at all those extra slim 30 000mAh with only 15Wh, you can't even charge a iPhone more than 3 time)
Well, let's see if Sony do good with this idea, only the final resulat and camera sample can tell if it's a good or a bad idea, not the idea itself. But the camera arrangment in this render is really ugly xD
