12 June 2019
The actual design is similar to all the leaks we have seen so far.

Most likely they are trolling, because of all the "leaks"...

Walter C. Dornez, 12 Jun 2019Hmm, perhaps there might be a third model then. After all, ... moreHmm, Pixel 4 | Pixel 4 XL | Pixel 4 Pro? (just an idea)
I'm confident to say that Google will focus on releasing a small and a larger variant of their flagships with nearly identical specs, like previously, and hopefully just follow the new trend of releasing and upgrading their new mid-range/affordable 4a/4a XL lineup in May 2020.

If you're right, I don't ever want to see it though, the price would most likely terrify me... :D

I like the new minimalist take (even if I find it too minimalist, I still prefer the two tone look), but that camera setup is what I can't get over. I hate the new renders of the iPhone 11, and really dislike this setup on the new Pixel.

That being said, not all is lost yet, we've still not seen the front. This might be the first device for me in a while I might actually try to cover up (with a case) to not make me look at the awful camera on the rear.

With Google confirming this image so early, I would even say that we might see the Pixel 4 series sooner than expected - before October, that is. We'll see.

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2019POOL : Who do you think is next to use ugly squared bulge? ... moreBetting on Xiaomi here

Nobody really cares what phone other people are holding. I certainly don't. And most cover it up with some hideous case anyway especially those OCD folks. That's why the design doesn't mean anything to me. And most people don't even buy Pixels. We're part of a niche market.

What I do like is Google finally getting with the times. I hope it has all three lens - main, wide, telephoto. And hopefully increase the RAM. The Pixel 4a should share a similar design. Kudos to Google for going for a matte back. That frosted glass look. I prefer matte finishes over the stuff everyone else puts out.

The rendered design looks better but I don't mind. I really don't care how it looks. As long as it just works.

My black Pixel 3 still looks better from the back. I still think it's the best Pixel design ever. Mine is basically an elongated matte black iPhone 7 with the typical Pixel rear. This Pixel 4 rear design will share the same as the iPhone XI which is ugly to me.

We don't know what the front looks yet but it's probably similar to the renders we saw earlier. I want the back to be all textured anyway. I hope they keep it small. Nothing larger than an iPhone X/XS. Keep it narrow.

I'll probably be getting this once it is discounted next April. I need to replace my LG G5. I can't find any phone the size of the Pixel 3 w/ stock Android. The Pixel line is pretty much my only option and I'm fine with that.

Dual camera horizontal layout of Huawei P10 was very simple but elegant.
The dual cam vertical of Mate 9 and XZ2 Premium was great too.
The square of Mate 20 and vertical of Xperia 1/OP7 Pro are very beautiful too.

Traffic light of iphone X is ugly.
Cooktop layout of Note 9 is very ugly

This square with triangle laced cam and huge bulge is way worse. The wprst ever.

Clearly they've realized that one camera cannot compete with multi-camera phones with various perspectives. Then why settle for 2?

It's likely that the second one is gonna be a ultra-wide one, so they'll miss out on a proper telephoto camera (and no, their BS digital zoom is not nearly good enough to compete with competitors).

Jhon998, 12 Jun 2019Looks uglyYes, it does. I just hope the camera square won't protrude (much). So long as it has 5G and doesn't have terrible bezels, I'm in. Small bezel to keep the front facing stereo speakers are fine.

Point is that they fist were wow a flagship killer. Now they are same like the rest on lacking features but asking the highest possible price they can get.

I hope Google's main camera sensor is IMX586 or IMX650 SuperSpectrum RGGB version.

Huawei has truly become the trendsetter now. Samsung is taking inspiration from P series design for their upcoming flagship, while Apple & Google will take inspiration from Mate series design. How the times have changed!

                                      My guess:

                                      - 12.2MP 1/2.55" Exmor 26mm
                                      - 12MP 1/3.4" Isocell 16mm
