Khuan, 14 Jun 2019Then why HUAWEI still need to invite those apps developers ... moreBecause until now they were using Android and Google Play so there so there was no need to develop their own ecosystem. I was only developing its operating system with calm and Android interfaces since it was a natural step and easier and economically profitable until now.
Things have changed, with the ban, the exorbitant taxes and all the fear that the US is pouring into that area. Now you have to take a new step, launch the new operating system bit a bit first in the more economic range then mid-range, etc. So you can control the behavior, fix undetected bugs, etc. And later for the most demanding users that spend more money in flagships and want it with all extras, add it when the surrounding ecosystem, including application store, etc is ready with plenty of apps from all the world available that cover whatever necessity those users have. Especially a app store at a lower price for developers, 10% would be great compared to the abusive 30% that Google and Apple charge.
That way you will succeed safely. And they do not need US developers to sign up, they will do it because it is business and hundreds of millions that they lose if we take into account the millions of phones that Huawei sells around the world. But if they do not sign up, it's absolutely the same. The United States is only one country ... the world has many, plety of developers with applications and talent everywhere waiting for opportunities to grow more in a competitive environment. Where the shit of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, plus apps of any purpose dissapear or not be available. Other alternatives even better will appear that around the rest of the world where millions of developers are waiting its oportunity.
Americans can keep their apps with their backdoors and data spy for business there. And the rest of the world will walk on the other side and with another philosophy. Less in specific countries where internally, unfortunately, they do not have the freedom that their citizens deserve. But the rest will enjoy it and the new systems and tools choosing what they want or not installed on their phones. And of course in open code so that it is adopted by third parties as well and trust it. That fact that Oppo and Vivo among others are testing it, makes it clear that it is open source. You do not show your proprietary code to others...
Anyway, given that everything is on the way and will not stop in any way. In a year we will see how many changes have occurred and in what direction everything follows. The supposed Huawei store I think i could not be such. I bet on a shared application store among those who want to sign up. Something that would be a sure success if it is an alliance between Huawei, BBK (Oppo, Vivo, OnePLus), Xiaomi, etc. Of course, in the app store theme, not hardware products. We'll see, interesting months and years upcoming in that sense. And all started because of a huge EGO in a wrong position is creating unnecessary conflicts to correct in the worst possible way the mistakes of the past instead of solving them civilized with fair negotiations.

That's why HUAWEI need to invite the apps developers to put their apps on their App Gallery.
And HUAWEI still not dare to put the OS in their flagship phones.
