GIF, 14 Jun 2019You don't need to be against Huawei to understand that this... moreSure, it's only unsafe because your precious three-letter agency led by an orange man can't put their backdoors in it.

Anonymous, 14 Jun 2019Try out the app gallery when I used to own mate 20 Pro and ... moreThat's because the one you saw are meant for China market as outside China there uses Play store, now that Google wanna play it rough, Huawei will add more apps into their store, Head that Oppo is joining the program, hopefully all China phone brand will share the same OS & Apps Store, with 80% of the market goes to this, Google can go chapter 11 with only Samsung, LG, Asus, HTC & Sony.
Google already going against Trump advice, knowing Huawei is too lucrative to be disassociate with... better to my popcorn tub fill up, this going to be interesting...haha

[deleted post]You don't need to be against Huawei to understand that this OS is fail and absolutely not safe (and here I'm not talking about collecting data).
Only in China it can be popular since they are cut off from western world.

I still think they need more neutral name. And about app store, if they make it like playstore but with 5-10% transactions fee instead 30% (and 0% till 2011), some Asian dev will jump in for sure, I mean, they just need to re-upload their apk without need to recompile etc

they should never relying only with Google, they might be next Huawei..

Try out the app gallery when I used to own mate 20 Pro and honestly it’s not even as mature enough as Samsung Galaxy app story 80% of apps are Chinese based.

hmm, 14 Jun 2019It will probably be safe to use for few years for the low a... moreIf you think that the millions of phones that Huawei sells is a lo number... You are blind, because now their are the number 2 in the world in term of sales. It's so funny how afraid are people due to a new competitor. So funny. Then add when other brands start to install it too.
The probability of see a big group of Asian manufacturers and brand collaborating in a large app store and distributing benefits is very real.

[deleted post]Agree.
Im living in Europe Denmark and in Europe we always support US, but since the greasy orange kido it changed a lot.
Many people here now got enough of US and their hypocrite behavior.
So im for Ark OS for sure and the last couple weeks i deleted all Google apps.
I dont hope for peace here, i pray for a new OS only and fast (y)

Note7 owner, 13 Jun 2019What a waste of time, NO body will want to steal your HongM... moreIt will probably be safe to use for few years for the low amount of people for new OS so all the virus and security risks are none existent. Like it was on windows phones. Cause of the low market then finding fools were less of a chance while on android that have over billion users so it will be a really big market for a virus and security risks.

goto, 13 Jun 2019haahaha good luck to you. You represent only 1% of all user... moreReading the comments here and in other webs that is absolutly false. The proportion against facebook and others was 80/20, against USA idem. In favor of have more alternatives, the majority.
This system will settle. And when it ripens a little it will spread. When adopted by other Chinese and Asian manufacturers, it will also be the majority against Apple and Google in terms of the number of phones that will have it installed. It's just a matter of time. Oppo and Vivo are already testing them. And that they, external and important companies claim that it is 60% faster than Android is already a success.
Everything will arrive there is no hurry. Saying nonsense here is not going to stop it, the change has already begun.
