Samsung are good at fibbing the public when it comes to PR stuff, they're not delaying it because of the US market or some random BS about launching after the official unveil. Thier delaying it because thier about to announce thier next generation Exynos chips based on ARM's A15 32mm architecture which is a given for the next generation Galaxy Tab 11.6, which will hopefully end up on the S3. I'd rather wait a few more months for the product to be substantially improved and be leagues and light years ahead of the competition running ICS rather than having a rushed device to market that will likely be buggy and less power efficient.

[deleted post]Actualy we can really see that you never had an iphone 4S. I had the S2 for about 6 months(never had an iphone ti'll 4s), and I have to tell you it's not about the specs. The 4s is faster than the S2 despite the specs arrent as good. In fact from my point of view it's stupid to have a quad-core phone, pc rezolutions and you get 5 hours of a charge. MOBILE PHONES ARE NOT SO MOBILE IF YOU'RE ALWAYS CHARGING THEM

What is so disappointing is the fact that I read that Samsung will introduce or maybe introduce the “Galaxy S 2+." My patience is running out as the S3 should be introduced at the MWC. I believe if you are late to the game than you lose out.

People complain about the "cheap" materials, while they ALL wrap their (4s-es, s2-s, sensations) in PLASTIC COVERS and SCREEN PROTECTORS.
If we take the slim s2 and pack it in a 2mm PLASTIC cover, we get a 10mm thick PLASTIC phone.
If we take the GLASS 4s/ ALUMINIUM UNIBODY N9 and pack it in a 2mm PLASTIC case, we get a 11-14mm thick PLASTIC PHONE.
CONCLUSION: We all use plastic to protect the phones body. Stop hitting Samsung for using SLIM and LITE materials. PLEASE.

So now I have an easier choice: I will buy Sony Xperia S and see what happens. If Samsung releases SGS 3 with specs that will blow the Xperia S away then I will sell it and buy SGS 3.

i hope galaxy 3 will not have the same plastic junk trash back cover as galaxy note and galaxy 2. maybe they will learn to make european design and rugged materials in a monolith unibody design like nokia,apple,motorola did

Oh yeah, 12 MP snappers, Exmor R Sensors, 720P front camera, 720P Clear black Mobile Bravia Engine reality display of 342 PPI, PS Certified, Aluminium Body, DLNA, NFC, Smartwatch, HDMI out, Facebook inside Xperia is so last year....
That is the difference between a blind Samsung fan and an unbiased Smartphone fan. Have fun with your triple quad-double 17 GHZ core processor and 5 gigs of RAM while I will be really enjoying my phone and using it's functionality.
