You know why Samsung will not release the Samsung Galaxy S III this month? Because they're waiting for other companies to release their flagship smart phones so that they can get some specifications from it that they can put to their Galaxy S III that will make Galaxy S III look like it's newer, greater and excellent. But the truth is they can't release their phone first they can be dependent. Like just what Samsung did for the past 2 years over Sony Ericsson, first SE released Xperia X10 in February 2009 then Samsung released Galaxy S in March 2010, second SE released Xperia Arc in January 2011 then again Samsung released Galaxy S II in April 2011. Look on how you can easily notice what Samsung is doing. Is that you call a best phone manufacturer?

Well, I am not interested in it. My Xperia Play does meet my needs. Beside I guess that SGSIII's appearence will be ugly as usuall from Samsung.

should be good for GS3, delay should bring in the GS3 with Exynos 5250 with mali 604. at MWC samsung may announce a tablet with Exynos 5250. As trevor has righly pointed , the device as anticipated should have more RAM + improved super AMOLED HD plus.
Hope fully samsung does enough R & D with heat issues ( considering the A-15 cores + mali 604) Screen niggles, Battery backup.
i take a wild guess that Samsung might release a successor to note with similar configuration of GS3

I actually get more life out of my SGS2 now than I did with my N8. Initially, the battery sucked, but it must gain about 40% extra charge after a couple of months, because I'm easily getting a full day out of it, and that's with a lot of 3G internet in a poor signal area.

the sgs2 now is already better than the lumia 900/800. in terms of spects, camera, processing, gpu, games, apps.
put the lumia next to it, and tell me if you still feel its better.
i get it if people compare apple iphone4s with it.
its still a stiff competition.

all lumia are fat and heavy.

I don't think what you say is true to be honest...
Many of your points maybe your experience, but that does not make them valid nor will it necessarily influence as many people as you would like...
In terms of photography - the GS2 has consistently beaten Sony phones (certainly HTC ones) - and from personal experience - with many friends with many phones, the Sammy pictures are excellent...
Equally in terms of volume / sound - again - no better or worse I'd say than competitors (perhaps not quite as go as 'beats audio' with HTC)...
Maybe you were disappointed with GS2 - but it sounds like your criticisms are more fiction than fact and unfairly slamming a phone won't affect people buying it, as none of us here (as we're not reviewers, etc.) have that much power!

If I read one more fanboy comment about specs I'll puke.
This is what the phone will launch with:
screen - 720 x 1280 pixels (4.65")
processor - Cortex-A15: 2GHZ dual core
GPU - ???? (imo a Mali T-604)
RAM - 1GB (maybe 1.5)
ROM - 16 GB
Camera - 12.1mpx (1.3mp FFC)
Battery - approx' 1800mah
Price - with these specs, it won't be cheap

The GS3 deserves it own launch event its THE flagship phone of the year that all other phones aspire to be like even the iphone is second best to Samsung now.
With regards to release date if i remember last year the GS2 was announced in Feb but wasn't released till late April, so if they announce the GS3 at the beginning of April and release it a month later its not a big problem.
