Elop don't cry on sales people. See how apple has changed the world.
You would have opt Android instead of MS. Then no need to cry. U have made wrong choice. Partner with Android would have change your balance sheet.

Elop is being delusional again. Nokia is basically floating on a lifesaver & might do a "Blockbuster" anytime now.
I would give this phone a try if it's FREE and come with $50 for apps. What better way to drive adoption and to spur developers interest?

Whats a Waste of time an money as these phones will never be able to compete with Android or Apple,as Android is more like Symbian as you can customize Android phones but not Windows an memory cards accepted in Android but not in Windows,an you can send an recieve data using Bluetooth on Android but not with Windows,Mr Elop was more bothered about Microsoft investing money into Nokia to switch to Windows but alot of Nokia Symbian users do not like the Restrictions with Windows an having to Zune is totally wrong by Nokia,Galaxy S2 alot better value than this phone,so can"t see this phone selling well like the Lumia 800

Salesmen fault is when they do not get familiar enough with WP to make proper comparison for pros and cons and to give the customer fair chance to choose. I've tried to get some basic information from several salesmen about WP and all of them could just cite the hardware specs, and could not give any details about the OS and how it "feels". Then tried to sell me a much cheaper phone with similar spec and outdated Android, because "you get the same hardware for less money and Android is more popular". All of them used these words.
When I went to the store and clearly said "I want to buy HD7" the salesman was very surprised and even tried to convince me that I should by an Android for half of the price. So, I also think they are not really trying to sell WP7.

they sell it at US$ 25 because they know, no one want this phone at US$ 199.

It's a shame when the flagship is sold at such a low price.... nokia = bad.

At the end of the day the customer in the shop will choose which phone they want no matter what any salesman tries to sell them, it is the customers choice as it is them who will use the phone on a day to day basis! I for one choose the handset i like or want not what they tell me is the best!

So far I haven't had any reason for complaints regarding the multitasking and switching implementation of WP (simple and effective card system to switch between your open apps).

Don't knock it till you've tried it. Does it still need improvement? Of course it does. Is it a "crippled" OS? No! Look up on Youtube the "Smoked by Windows Phone" competition and see how everyday stuff is done much easier and faster with WP compared to even the almighty iPhone 4S or Galaxy Nexus.
