If... moreI just wanted to share my opinion, the reason why maybe the prices of Samsung devices go up is all because of the R&D in which was applied in making the features, the parts, some hardware and software development; and besides indeed there are some features like less than 10% of people care and as long as there are some percentage who wanted to get the phone just to have the feature like the 1 TB of space which is too much for an average user but we don't know maybe some business people some sort of geek wanted to keep a lot of files that there will be a time that a micro sd card will be needed, long ago 1 gb of data was too big but nowadays its just a cache of some apps we download. Some IPV8 feature can be useful such as underwater photo taking or if the person usually around a wet area. there area lot more that I would say but I need to go and for the short minded people I am not like a fanboy of Samsung im just sharing thoughts about it. peace

Somebody in the comments said do some research before you comment on Huawei battery endurance. Yes my friend they are not good. In my own usage and I don't need your permission to say it out loud. Huawei phone battery not upto the MaH they provide.

The latest CPU, GPU and 8GB ram makes K20 pro flagship no matter how you look at.
If we speak about everything else: Are you seriously comparing the non-premium K20 Pro to the flagship-grade S10+ lol the former doesn't even have a 1440p screen, no Gorilla Glass 6, no HDR10+, no IP68 rating, no ultrawide camera, no secondary front-facing camera, no OIS, no HDR video recording, no microSD card slot, no stereo speakers, no fast wireless charging, no reverse wireless charging, no 802.11ax; it has a slightly smaller battery, weighs heavier and is thicker and has less internal storage and memory options. So yeah the two are incomparable.
My answer is: Resolution of K20 pro 1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~403 ppi density) is good enough not many will sport difference. It comes with Gorrila Glass 5 which is good enough. The difference is small. By the way every man woman or kid with brain will put panzer glass on it so gorrilaglass or no gorrila glass it doesnt matter.
K20pro have HDR. HDR10+ are tossed money out of window difference is small in real life usage and its a costly add-on in case of Samsung. Xiaomi would ask maybe 2 euros for same technology compared to basic HDR.
IP68 rating is for clumsy people. As long as IP68 doesnt cover your warranty its just costly add-on with no real life usage thus is not needed.
About camera difference between ultra vide and vide is small. Even a 150 eurs nikon or cannon does much better photos than P30pro by Huawei.
Dual from camera is complete useless one is enough for good selfie.
OIS or HDR video recording for what??? Another costly add-on which have a minimum usage. For a good photo from hollidays Sony Cyber-shot WX220 is enough for a phone K20pro does decent photos.
Print your S10+ holliday photo on a paper of size A4 or more and you wont like it anyway so having it for watching via PC or TV K20 pro is enough rest is just more money thrown out of window for nothing special and worth.
By the way i have 64GB in my Moto X4 and after almost 2 years i still have 30% left.
For what sake a phone with 256GB or 1TB needs a memory slot??? This is pure nonsense.
Stereo or non-stereo the difference is but when you use earphones it does not matter if yu have stereo or dont have.
Fast wireless or reverse wireless charging is for no use.
Not many times you will find this usefull and if you have time basic convient charging top up your phone battery much faster. Wireless charging was it is and always will be useless technology like a bottle of diet plain water because it have less calories than regular plain water.
And for the rest no 802.11ax; it has a slightly smaller battery, weighs heavier and is thicker and has less internal storage and memory options. So yeah the two are incomparable.
15 grams 100 mAh makes no difference. And storage and memory i said above.
K20 pro can run anything smoothly as Samsung phone. Apart it have less bloatware in UI and the xiaomi typical irritiating advertising can be toggled off in settings.
So again S10+ have some interesting add-ons but those are money tossed out of window compared to K20pro which have less features but delivers same premium feeling.
Yes you are right we cant compare these two devices becase for 700 euros in difference xiaomi made completely equal device in any benchmark or other tests and the smsung more features are for maybe 0,05% of global population rest will have no idea what they are for and how to use them.

If xiaomi would be everywhere they would sell5 times more than rest of the other phone companies together.

It's worth mentioning that the K20 Pro supports less 4G LTE bands and doesn't have an always-on display.

By the way I'm not a Fan of Motorized Moving Camera Part unless its the Indisplay Camera which is yet to be perfected... A70 is great phone and I can't see how the K20 is better then A7p except with the SD855,but wt last its down to Users choice

If S10+ brand new cost 420 dollars to make which is roughly 320 maybe 350 euros why it have to cost 1000-1800 bucks depends on storage and ram. 12GB ram and 1TB storage on a ceramic version.
And even after only 3 moths it will cost 30% less and half year before Xmas the same phone will cost in Samsung store from 549 euros to 649 euros depends on ram and storage.
Where 649 euros is like 70% discount on a ceramic version from initial selling price.
Compared to apple where Iphone X even after 2 years cost maybe 100-200 bucks less from its iniotial starting price 2 years ago.
This is not marketing this is robbery.
Their advertising is like boom new S10+ for sale only for 1000 euros.
And after 3 months another advertising everywhere on TV or bilboards outside (my country is full of bilboards on a 1 square KM we have maybe 20 bilboards maybe more) will say S10+ for 799 euros a huge deal you cant refuse.
And on Xmas 649 deal???
Or something like this.
I undersatnd xiaomi have its own advertising inside the phone but its their advertising inside their phone they dont need to pay any television or advertising outside on billboards newspaper etc. People who making the promo.
By the way in settings there is a button which can turn off any adveritisng insode the UI of a phone.
