It makes no difference whether the a70 would beat out the k20 pro if it didn't have a good chipset. The k20 pro has the sd855 and a notchless screen. That's why it outperforms the a70. If it didn't have the chipset, it wouldn't be the k20 pro.

Xiaomi always sells more than ... moreHow does s10+ cost 320 euros to be make when it only bill of materials costs $420 according to what was published? Then you add advertisement, workforce, reaserch/development, licensing of thir part tech, taxes, distribution costs etc ..
Dont have illusion that xiaomi phones have same factory costs than other brands. They cost much cheaper. There is no xiaomi is earning only $5, $10, $40 per unit ...
No business could survive this way.

Only company from China can pull off something like that due to their access to direct manufacturing. They sell their phones with less than 5% profit, and take advantage of countries that lack human rights regulation to put ads in their os and apps to even out and make money. More countries should tax the import of this practice

Xiaomi always sells more than samsung because compared to samsung they add real price not illusions which not everybody would like to pay.
S10+ cost to make 320 euros and final selling price 1600 for the most ram and disk space variant.
Xiaomi K20 pro cost to make 200 euros and final selling price is 370 euros.
In other words only a fool would think IP68, curved screen and a little bit better camera are worth 1200 bucks
