Where is the proof of it. I bet all phone makes have prototypes on paper with ideas and patented. Never mind who is the first to make working prototype or then ready for market devices.

    From your text i can read out that if Samsung or some other older premium brand show an idea to the world then China phone makers are so fast to copy that they can make working prototype over a night or something. It's cause you say so then it's a fact ?

We are in the midst of transition between bezelless phone to under display camera tech. Therefore the notch, punch hole, pop-up cameras. All of the companies do the R&D stuff, in order to be competitive. Not just Samsung.

      What matter the most is results. And at the moment seems like Chinese are on the forefront. I'm not even chinese, but their achievement in the tech world has to be credited. Why do u think US ban Huawei on the first place?

Also, Samsung delivers Screens to ALL phone companies. Every phone sold is a good thing for Samsung. You know who is always a loser? The customer! Sam, Apple, Huawei etc. do talk about business, you know. What do you think they will talk about? How to beat every other company? Or maybe how to get more money off customer's hands?

              Or Kyocera Echo was the first dual screen foldable phone back from 2011.
              Even Huawei with its troubles with US government makes their Mate X before galaxy fold will have its debut.
              When comes to technology Samsung innovation is as fast as LG phones with OS updates.

Shall i remind you what a joke Samsung Galaxy Fold was? It was so "immature" that they had to delay it for many months.

                      It's not about which company announces first. It's about which company delivers on their promises. Samsung failed to deliver. In only few days we'll find out if Oppo delivers or not.

Chinese always rush to market with something to be first even thou it´s not their idea (Tried to do the first punch hole implementation, so Samsung had to release A8s to actually claim the first place). Then it was folding display and now under display camera. I doubt Oppo´s implementation will be "mature", I expect more a half-baked type of solution.

                                It's still has a chin. smh...

                                  Nothing impressive. It is only a prototype, it can not be produced in series in 2019.Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo, Honor all works this technology, Oppo only wants advertising.

                                    Oppo has done it. Not only showcased a video but will now showcase actual working device too and will probably launch really soon while Samsung is still in punch hole days asking $1100 for their flagships. Even Pop Up is better than Punch Hole.
