Symbian is Nokia, but saying that if Nokia didn't make the mistake by teaming up with Microsoft then the future would of been brighter for the Finn

Nokia brought this upon themselves, I was always a die hard Nokia supporter, even b4 symbian^3 was announced I had faith. Then when it came out I was happy and optimistic, until they said they would stop supporting the platform in 2016(this hurt them more than anything bcuz no App developer wants to make Apps for a platform that only has 4 years 2 live). I thought to myself "Why buy a phone running the OS that Nokia company has just openly shown their lack of faith in?" but I decided the N8 was 2 good and I would get it anyway(I haven't bought it yet). Now I see this,in my opinion this CEO of theirs is killing Symbian so that Microsoft can give him a little bonus for making Windows the only platform used by the most well known phone supplier of all time. smh. Belle is so beautiful and it really upset a lot of Apple and Android fans see it lookin so good.Stephen Elop is focusing more on his short term profit then the long term success he can have if he had focused on developing symbian and making Nokia #1 again.nobody buys a phone that they know will be outdated as of 2016. they were better off just teaming up with android...

The first smartp... morefirts real toochscreen smartphone: nokia 7700. first symbians were: 7650,6650,3650,6600,6630,6680. the first application i have ever seen was "video recorder" for nokia 7650 wich cannot record video at the beginning, only photo. indeed 7650 was the first mobile with an integrated photo camera and the first with symbian.

The first smartphone was the Nokia 9000 Communicator, launched in 1996 running the GEOS operating system. The Nokia 9110 was released in 1998 and still running GEOS. The first Nokia Symbian phone was the Nokia 9210 launched in 2000.
The first HTC WinMo smartphone was released in 2002, 6 years after the Nokia 9000, and the first Blackberry smartphone came a year after that (2003). This is all a matter of historical record, but you were too lazy to check it up.

i liked the N8 its a brilliant device. good camera, nice shape. good build quality. just let down by slow cpu, and naff OS. so if nokia brough this device out of Android or Windows 7. i would buy it tomorrow. it would be the best selling phone on the planet.
so nokia there you have it.

701 has good battery backup,SE have....?

if ther is HDMI in neo here 701 have component coonection of 720p.....no difference at all....

Route 66 will never to catch up with nokia maps and navigation (lifetime free)... Sgs2 and iphone 4s has a great camera? You make me laugh.... Android and Iphone take advantage on symbian just because they are more stable than symbian that's all I know, internet speed? Maybe but android is poor when they in weak signal area compare with symbian...
