And I think even then you are still limited to Oppo users and it can't interoperate with regular networks

Nothing new push to talk aka PTT comes first with Nokia phones back in 2003 Chinese OEM’s bring features that already introduced long. With iPhone and galaxy you can do the same even you can play games with others if they have the same device.

Phone needs to have microphone and speaker. Have only connection to internet either 4G/5G or wifi. And you can make even video calls with Skype or other communication program that only needs internet. This thing needs to be in mass use to have a point. 3km distance between 2 devices as maximum isnt really enough when there are few who have it so the chance to have someone that is in that range is really low

                              Interesting innovative

Interesting but I expect it'll need a lot of devices supporting this feature to enable this mesh network. And security need to prioritized because we don't want our phone got hacked because random dude found security bug/exploit by chance.

What would be interesting is the range with just 2 phones.

                                    Wouvvv smart.
                                    Again, well done China.
Must admit most of the innovation comes from China nowadays.

the best feature for a phone so far. (entry levels, midrangers, flagships) should have this feature! great job!
