So we all dislike the fact that we think all phone operating systems spy on us. Hardly surprising. if Huawei (or any other manufacturer) really wants to win our trust it needs to publish its specs & make the machines easy to root. That way we can install the o/s of our choice

What China is allegedly doing is EXACTLY the same. The US is also factually known for spying on it's own citizens and the rest of the world for that matter.
