Please call it ArkOS - Hong Meng OS is a mouthful and respectfully but honestly, not pleasant at all on the ears for the rest of the world (who by the way you are trying to persuade to stick with you) who don't understand what that actually means.

"broader application" - so exactly like Linux... So it's not about OS but rather building ecosystem. Maybe I will test it but not as daily driver - I prefer spying by countries with some degree of rule of law.

For example, they force minorities of china to install their spyware so they could monitor then. This is why I hate china (governement not people)

This will definitely start the decline of Google. Why? Other Chinese manufacturers will adapt to HongMeng OS which means that majority of the phones to be released in the future will run the new OS. Others will follow suit. Now, we need to thank Donald Trump and the US Government for "Making America Great Again!"
