Bu... more"Not so bad" doesn't sound like evolution. To have evolution, you must have a better version of something, but with that all you get is compromises. Why would i get over it when i can just buy a mid-ranger (Not from Shamsung, obviously, since they are removing jacks even there)?
As for listening and charging, i need that in my car, for example. Try listening to music and using GPS at maximum brightness and you'll see what i mean...

Guys. I know, lack of 3.5 mm jack can be a bit annoying
But it's inevitable. Crying in the comments is not gonna bring it back. So why just not move on and get over it. And one Day you'll look back and see that it wasn't so bad after all. I was a fan of the 3.5 mn jack (well, i'm still) but recently i got the Mate 20 Pro, and as you all know it doesn't have the jack. And well, it's not so bad. You have a usb c headphones in the box and a dongle. Yh I know, some of you gonna still cry because they can't charge and listen to music at the same time. But hey, the battery is a beast and charging is done in a blink of an eye. So will you ever really need to do both at the same time that often that you'll get annoyed because of it???? I don't think so. So, be a man and accept the evolution. Because at some point, there won't be any phone with the jack. So let's get over it and speed up the process. Will I be happy if the jack wasn't meant to extinction ? Yh sure. But I know it is meant to extinction, y'all know it is. So why keep complaining again and again. Like the OEMs would notice it and stop the removal. Time to face reality. And again, I'm a fan of the jack, but i can't ignore the truth.

$199 is a fair price for this phone. I would pay an extra $200 with a 3.5mm jack.

I'm laughing at 'no headphone jack' comments... seriously but it's getting annoying.
Well, internet doesn't represent the real market though. It's already proven that your hate has no impact on real world sales.. like notch, hated by most people in internet, but consumer irl still buy it.
So yeah, just whine all you want. It won't change anything.
Moreover, spen is the main feature of note series. If you only judge note series by headphone jack, you should look for other phone.
I love note series just because the s pen.. an with or without jack, I'm buying this phone to replace my 4 yo samsung phone.

But we already saw it coming from a repo... moreWell, I did it see that Samsung will eventually remove 3.5mm headphone jack at some time, and it did at some point, even doing it first on their midrange lineup, as they did state that experimental and new features (or removal as well) on the Galaxy A series than their flagship one [S and Note lineup] (yup, first seen on last year A8s, and this's first for Samsung mainstream flagship), and I did really regretted that happen. LG (and probably Asus and other small OEM) are the last OEM to have 3.5mm headphone jack on their flagships.
I did read that report of Samsung will ditch the port from either Note10/S11 from October last year in this website and others too. Though, some commenters didn't believe that report at all and denying, even at all cost. Well, here we are now... It's happening. Though I don't hate Samsung, this is disturbing enough.

Well Shamsung started ditching the jack even in mid-range models (Which are already mediocre at almost everything anyway), so yes, this was 100% expected. Another evil/insane manufacturer i'm adding to my black list to be boycotted.
