Xiaomi Mi A3 unveiled with 720p+ OLED screen, S665 chipset, €250 price tag

The Mi A3 is based on the CC9e without any upgrades to the hardware. There's no "Mi A3 Pro".

    They overpriced that because android one there is no adv....they will not gain money from it long 3 ,4 years

          I am waiting for A3 lite, hopefully sd660, sd636 is also fine, hopefully they retain oled screen, though I doubt, fingerprint reader on the back and some basic splash resistance... I don't know if this phone has it, or cc9e... most xiaomi phones today come with basic ingress protection

            So stock android is expensive than highly modified android MIUI? Wth?

              Xiaomi will probably release a Mi A3 Pro

You either buy a new phone that is just released and have hope in updates or buy a 2-3 years old flagship for the same price that dont get any updates anymore. But well you wil have a better screen resolution for it while everything is outdated on it.

                    I am using 720p and 720p is okay, but with that price? I'll say NO!

                      You can buy better phones at the price last year A2 was a good phone for price not this, this is more like A3 lite

                        Was eyeing this thing but without NFC it's a pointless device. HD+ is the other major letdown.

                          I expected the MI a3 to be a mix of MI 9 se + mi 9cce..

                          No small screen like the MI 9 se..
                          No 1080
                          No 675/710/712 processor?
                          No 6/8gb ram?

                          Cam of MI 9 se is better, telephoto..
                          Primary and ultra wide (48 + 8 mp) are the same.

                          What's good?!
                          Android one
                          3,5 mm
                          SD card
                          Battery

                          But the size could be smaller, the screen could be better = MI 9 SE, 5,97, 1080p
                          Motorola one vision + pixel 3a has android one with an amazing camera, the camera could be better! MI 9 SE, telephoto lens
                          Processor, 670/675/710/712 with 6/8 gb ram.


                          I prefer:
                          5,8" or 6" Android one
                          675 + 8gb ram, 1080 screen
                          3,5mm, SD card
                          Ultra wide, telephoto, 48mp (12mp, like Motorola)
                          Water drop notch, or no selfie cam..
                          4000+ mah
                          NONE 5G! Danger for our health!!

                          Maximum measurements: 14,8 cm x 7,1 cm
                          Smaller?! YES, PLEASE make it asap!
                          S10e or MI 9se are oké, but overpriced and also miss a few important features..

                            They easily could have thrown away the UD scanner and use a better display.
                            Ppl looking for A3 are looking for something good & cheap. This new resolution makes it impossible.

                                The Mi A-series has slowly moved up in price. I think they did it right with the original €150 price and specs.

                                It will certainly drop in popularity if they move it up to €300 in the next year or two.

                                  this is too expensive! with this spec the price should about $220, idk Xiaomi is starting expensive for its phone today.

                                    Just HD+ and no NFC for 250 euros?? Gimme a break. I knew that one day Xiaomi will start to be new Samsung.

                                      That's Motorola One wannabe without NFC.
