The slow in display fingerprint sensor causes problems again. This could have all been avoided by just using a 1080p LCD and putting the fingerprint sensor on the back. The SoC itself is fine, but a SD 670 or 675 would have been preferred. 6GB RAM would be nice as an option as well.

So all depends of what are you looking for. I see more value in the Xiaomi mid-rangers. But at the end if look back, there are one year old flagships that probably worth more pay for them.

Many stores have the option of sending your phone over EU warehouse (it's mostly DHL option for about $27),so no custom fees,no tax..if you live in EU.

If you use a glass phone without a plastic case there is a big chance its back will break.
If you use it with a plastic case in order to protect glass what is the purpose of having glass back?

Frankly it is only the 720p resolution display that's spoiling this otherwise excellent midranger. The way it is right now this phone should cost 150 Euros.

For those who hates the screen,youall can make the screen to FHD if you know to use ADB stuff on computer..Just saying.. who knows if someone interest ;)

Haven't anyone noticed the trend with the Budget phones of Xiaomi, ever since they went with Samsung's AMOLED, most of the prices shot-up. This phone would have 1080p LCD panel if Xiaomi sourced their panels from China-based manufacturers like BOE (the one that makes trash AMOLED for the Mate 20, LOL).
Mi flagship were already have higher price-points so they stay as-is.

I have mix feeling here. The hardware specs are nice accept the display is 720p.
Do you guys recommended the phone if I want to upgrade my phone (Mi A1) to Mi A3? or should I wait a bit more for Mi A3 Pro(if the device exist).

I was so excited about this phone... until it launched. Low screen resolution, underpowered CPU, and limited LTE options make it a non-starter for me.

And, everytime you look at the display of A3, you can see individual pixels and it will be a frustrating experience.
