New leak details Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ screen resolutions, battery capacities

22 July 2019
As we get closer to the August 7 grand unveiling of the duo, more and more information is starting to come out.

Flagships aren't what they used to be. If you don't have the Plus or Pro version of a smartphone these days you don't have the real flagship. The Galaxy Note has now followed the trend.

I have used Note 8 and plan to upgrade to Note 9 as it beats Note 10 in my book at fraction of its price.

Personally am disappointed in Note 10/+ spec and futures so it wont become my next phone and i'll probably go with rog phone!

SadSoul, 23 Jul 2019ROG phone II: 240 gms of weight is no joke in this one. Def... moreThere is a gap between the evidence cited and your conclusion. The 240-gram heft is because of the 6000mAh battery. And long-talking users will certainly appreciate the extra talk-time this battery affords to them.
Additionally, the target demographic for this phone will be more than capable to afford at least a decent Bluetooth headset/wired headset, which would totally alleviate the issue of holding the device for extended periods of time.
The presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack is also a welcome addition, as the handsfree functionality can now be availed even more economically, if need be.

Oh god. The note 10 sounds awful with that battery.
And the note 10+ will be exorbitantly expensive.

If the info is true. Goodbye Samsung, you have now learnt how to cheat consumers like Apple. The price of the handsets are getting crazy and you are offering a substandard model for a high price and commanding more money for a Plus model. Battery capacity a joke, carry on like this and the Chinese Market will swallow you up soon.

I don´t see that 1080p display very possible. It will be 1440p no doubt, who would buy a Note with a worse screen than the previous Note?

THE-TRUTH-REVEALER, 23 Jul 2019Hmm, overall ROG phone 2 seems a better pick for most users... moreROG phone II: 240 gms of weight is no joke in this one. Definitely not for those who talk for long.

Hmm, overall ROG phone 2 seems a better pick for most users.
If users can tolerate the extra heft, the fantastic 6000 mAh battery and that extra performance (especially those regions that get the Exynos version) would be worth it. Users would also prefer the 120Hz AMOLED HDR screen over a vanilla QHD screen with minor real-world benefits over 1080p. Stereo speakers also seem to be missing from both Note's and I personally don't trust the display-sound tech a lot.

Also, I think the ROG phone 2 will only be slightly more expensive than the standard Note 10, but Note 10 does not hold a candle to ROG 2.

I would miss the S-Pen though, but that is an okay deal for me.

Whackcar, 23 Jul 2019I don't think the 1080p rumor is true. Even S10 (non-plus) ... moreMaybe Samsung wants to differentiate Note 10 and Note 10+ because they both have same one front camera while S10 and S10+ have different number of front cam.

I prefer 400 ppi screen than 500+ ppi because it makes battery more efficient and the game running more smooth (onscreen native resolution setting). Higher ppi is only useful for VR.

Okay, so how are we supposed to turn off the phone now?
