Samsung galaxy S10+ is no match for huawei p30 pro.
Huawei's flagship is much far ahead, or lets agree maybe its because of SoC,
The samsung galaxy S10+ can only match with the last years huawei's mate 20 pro. And the mate might even be better.
remember even samsung itself had talked about this and sayed that their expected flagship the galaxy S10 + might not beat the the huawei mate 20 pro. Then and what of the latest huawei p30 pro.
some reviews are just marketting the brand (sumsung)
You guys look at the expected galaxy note 10 (kind of p30 pro copy cat).
Huawei is always ahead , as for now they are on their way to compete with Apple

I work in China where Huawei flagships are a lot cheaper than Apple or Samsung flagships. It makes perfect financial sense to purchase them in China whereas it may not be the best value choice in other markets. The same applies to other Chinese brands such as Oneplus as well. The Oneplus 7 and 7pro
are way cheaper in China than Europe. There is so much competition here that they can't get away with charging exorbitant prices. Plus it is much cheaper for them to sell in their home market

I remember when the Mate 20 & P 30 Series was launched and their prices announced, I made a direct conversion and expected the price to be on par with that of Samsung. And then, Huawei announced their prices to our country, and I was like, how come its cheaper than my expectation? What magic is this? lol. I live in Asia.

I figured the biggest issue they could've had from USA is the threats affecting their International Stock valuation. Even then, if Huawei is looking to break even, they can receive anonymous credit directly from the Chinese government since there are direct ties.

It would be like, if Apple's 2020 iPhone XI flopped real hard, say they only got 50% of their usual sales, and the USA government decided to hand them over trillions of dollars to make their quarterly estimates look normal. Obviously, not okay thing to do.

PS: China/Huawei have been winning some decent tenders from carriers for 5G Towers, that's the bigger investment/revenue for their corporation. The phone hardware division is nowhere near as important. Think of say Samsung Phone Division versus AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, etc etc.

Anonymous, 25 Jul 2019compared to apple and samsung, huawei prices are much much ... moreComparing flagship prices, Huawei prices are comparable to Samsung prices. Apple prices of the lowest tier flagship is comparable to Huawei upper tier pricing while Apple's Xs Max with the largest memory would cost double Huawei/Samsung's pro/plus.

And let's wait until Samsung announces the Note 10, which by the way looks like a copy of the Huawei P30 pro, the back camera array placement and the gradient design. Also, Apple and Google's next announcement would reveal phones with cameras reminiscent of the Huawei Mate 20. Things have indeed turned around in the looks front.

Huawei's growth was due to Samsung and Apple jacking up their prices despite the lack in innovations. During this period, Huawei introduced several firsts which made a lot to switch brands esp in the midrange and low-end with their Nova 3i and Y series phones. Samsung retaliated with their new A series devices though still playing catch-up or second fiddle to Huawei in new announcements.

the more USA wanna ban Huawei, the more Huawei earns.

                          It's simple as that.

People are getting smarter with smartphones!!! No amount of misleading campaign can stop an innovating enterprise from gaining traction.... But Huawei downfall like many enterprises will be due to its greedy pricing than anything else....they just can't increasing prices.... though for the sake of kindness, their mid-rangers (with flagship specs and performance) are still within acceptable range
