And this analysis is not based on transfer speed alone, but actually looking through the USB device profile as reported by the phone. Frankly we can't know why the discrepancy exists. It might be a software issue. In any case, this is the state of our review unit.

One more question how is the performance with high end emulator games like PS2 and Wii games

Despite 8K being recorded at only 15 FPS, I think that it's incredible that it can record 8K in the first place lol

So many omissions; not worth it.

              Thanks for the answers!
There are so many omissions on this phone, it is not worth buying if not just for playing games.

"we wouldn't bet it supports video out via Type-C port since the Type-C port currently only houses a USB 2.0 connection."
Red Magic 3 official specification web page shows Red Magic 3 has a USB 3.0 port : https://eu.redmagic.gg/pages/red-magic-3-specs Are they lying ? Is there an Android app to check the USB version on the phone ? Maybe this one ? Can you check it please ? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=aws.apps.usbDeviceEnumerator

Thanks. I really think you need to ask the development team about 4:2:2 and 8kp30 (I don't know if the current chipset sensor combination will support useful 12 bits). Bypassing the DSP and using other resources close to 8kp50 might be possible. That would need to be tested by the development team.

Thank you for answering my and others questions.
