Dont understand your point, WP7 is way more interesting than symbian. It's going to sell lot more than those S3 phones.

WIndows phones sales were 2.7 million, Nokia sold 1million Lumia phones. This shows that HTC,Samsung & ZTE managed to sell just 1.7million WP in 12 months & Nokia alone sold 1million phones in just 3 months(that too not in US & in some other countries)
This shows that WP will pick up in coming months & Nokia will have a mere 60%-70% share in windows phone sales

Yes Nokia can sell dumbphones in shitloads like no other but they can also still sell Symbian phones far better than their Nokia Lumia Windows Phones. If people hate Symbian, then nobody likes Windows Phone either. And for the record, the Nokia N8, the last Symbian flagship phone, has already sold more than 10 million units.

Look at those sales. 17 million last quarter even after months of announcing that the platform will be dead soon. Compare that to Nokia Lumia with fast and smooth browser but still with abysmal sales of only 1 million. People love Symbian. They just wish Nokia would not give it up but instead continue with its development to further improve it.

It's quite simple, people number one task is use browser so it has to be very good

Windows Phone's market share drops in 2011 compared to 2010. It means that the much publicized and controversial Nokia-Microsoft partnership so far didn't bring anything positive to both companies. You can already tell this early that the world doesn't like Windows Phone even if it has a Nokia name on it.

Symbian had a bad time because Nokia did not changed its UI, just the UI should quickly been changed when touch phones came out, but with Belle Symbian is onpar with Android and A LOT BETTER ther WP : homescreens, customization, widgets! Please don't tell me about windows tiles, they are horrible colored squares!

Why? Because it indicates a very healthy market, with lots of players, and plenty of room to compete, this means better phones for the customers at the end of the day.

Nokia loose its market share because they announce that they will leave Symbian O/S! Today we know Nokia is the brand because of Symbian and they forgot to develop that? and choose WP O/S because of some money? what the hell is happen with Nokia! WP8(Apollo) has the potential to gain some market share for Nokia and MicroSoft but I am sure there will be the one phone which is the best selling phone from Nokia and ofcourse that is N8 successor and the reason is simple It is powered by Symbian O/S with the best Camera ! And yes finally they have no choice to develop Symbian again if they want to survive in Smartphone market! But WP8 Apollo may be deal breaker but it is not only used in Nokia phone's , It will be use in Samsung, LG and so on! So if Apollo gain huge market share it doesn't mean only Nokia will gain huge benefit from that! Anyway Best of luck for all the Mobile company of the world who are ready for expand some great device at reasonable price tag!
