Well we've seen some late benchmarks of iPhone 4S, and it is twice faster than Galaxy Tab in some tests, or about the same in others. So it should be about in between of the first two rows in quadrant, too bad there is no ios version of the program.

Just look carefully at the bench...Most improvment is in cpu part, about twice(4 cores vs 2),while 3d is just slightly better, and Nexus use 'old' sgx 540...Tegra isn't really that good as they try to make it look good.Ipad 2 still owns in 3d stuff, even 4gs.Power VR ftw!

                        a true beast from lg.
last year we got lg optimus 2x which is powered by tegra 2 chip and now this one powered by 1.4 ghz quad core tegra 3 chip.
Expect that it will better than last one and gaming is better than any other quad core smartphone like htc edge, htc zeta, samsung galaxy s3.

hi, 15 Feb 2012you really cant called this tech next gen because it still ... moreDevs will take long until they can use full performance, but as someone said a few posts ago, hardware comes first, then developers can use the extra muscle to make new ideas come true.

True, it's not A15, but anyway, I was hoping for something more. Maybe 60fps cap in 3D? It could be.

I like 24-30" screens with 1920*1200 display resolution at least. I love hardware KB and 2000fpi mices. Not to mention that the "real" internet connection is FTTH with appropriate 100 Mb/s bandwidth. Good luck to stream HD(1080p/i) video on mobile.

It's pretty silly that we're in 2012 and phones still don't have more than 64GB internal storage. Hard drives are pushing past 4 TERAbytes of data and still most phones only have 16GB, even the "flagship" ones.

If the performance/watt improves with more cores, then more cores is definately better. Don't be mistaken by the number of cores the CPU uses. Think more about the cores the GPU uses. Easily a few hundred cores.
