      She loves taking sunset pictures and is unable to do so. The sensor simply paints everything yellowish and whitish instead of the lovely red/pink color we all love from sunsets.

      In all other situations the camera is amazing though

          LG had those features in its default camera app. Sony brought very similar feature into Xperia 1 with a SEPARATE advanced video recording app, so the idea itself is very similar if not identical. And of course I won't criticise Sony for making the dedicated camera app for potential professional users, because why would I?

                  And yes, Sony imx6 series only exclusive to Huawei phones, Huawei imaging department give the idea & concept, pay Sony to build it. About the lens & optics, its not actually Leica, as Leica dont built small lens for a phone. Its from a company named OmniVision, Liteon or Sunny (dont remember which one), but with quality assurance & Leica certified. On image processing part (color style, contrast, face texture, computational photography) they collaborate with Leica hence Huawei phones camera results looks identical as Leica street photography style (but of course not as good as them, big sensor wins all the time).

                    however it's always interesting what huawei will come up with their upcoming flagships so the leaks doesn't count on what they are upto. after their trade mark announcement in europe of cine lens i am really into their camera setup

Not even cam makers like ... moreyou are just making assumptions .... huawei and leica took a normal rygb sensor and then redesigned it to ryyb ... then they had to code the camera software for that massive change ... sony had nothing to do with it apart from build the sensor ... huawei were also the first to start working with monochrome sensors on phones and using that data for better photos when added to the rygb sensor data ... so yes huawei are designing sensors and yes sony are building the huawei design for huawei .... samsung do the same thing but actually build their own iso cell sensors then sony make an imx version exactly the same as the iso cell version for samsung to help samsung because of how many samsung need for their phones ... although samsung managed to use just iso cell sensors on the main camera for the s10 from reports so it looks like samsung can now design and build sensors on a large scale ... sensors are electronic devices and people like samsung and huawei are also experts in this field

                            necru, 02 Aug 2019Bro, Huawei buys all the parts and build a phone made of pa... morehuawei spend some of the biggest money on research and development , they custom designed the ryyb sensor in their phones with leica ... sony built them to how huawei wanted them built ... they also design and build the kirin chipsets based on arm tech just like qualcomn and apple do with their chipsets ... they also work on their own charging tech and they also designed and built new expandable storage for tight spaces in nm cards ... huawei are huge and bringing the most innovation to the market at the moment ... you should see their campuses ... their research centers across the globe ... you should do more research on these things that you obviously dont know about ;-)

                              they dont use leica glass because huawei sell to many phones for Leica to manufactuer leica glass lenses , the lenses are plastic but huawei and leica design the cameras all the way from the sensors to the software and the lenses
